    If you find the grey Zeta Plus boring, you can go for the blue-white Hummingbird scheme, or the red & white Amuro/Karaba Air Force version. I build the old kit years ago and went into full surgery madness

    One Gundam down in 2015, ended up with the Koto Anubis at 75%. Will try to make 2016 a better year, of course.

    Interestingly, the violence against children, often carried out by children, annoyed my so much that I wrote a letter to a letter of complaint to a german Manga distributor. That was almost twenty years ago. It seems to me that it's a common trope in Manga directed at a young male audience, with some artists openly living out their revenge fantasies against peers that may have expelled them in their younger days, which are well received by adolescents who feel the same during the hard times of growing up. The characters being stuck in a situation (war) or a system (conspiracy, secret organization) that leave them no other choice is a comfortable way to take away the blame for their decisions. It's a ongoing motive - from Akira to the Hunger Games.

    Interesting to see how some subtle changes of proportions give the First Order TIE Fighter a more aggressive look.

    I think it's fair to rate this as a combined effort of badly scripted dialogue, uninspired directing and zero-charisma acting that sunk the character.

    While it might not have the same cultural significance aus ANH, TFA was a far more entertaining movie IMO. And I did bother to watch Episode IV recently, not wearing my nostalgia glasses.

    Most likely they assume that the average Gunpla builder won't muster the effort for applying water slides. There's a variety of Gundam Decal sheets available as standalone items, but the ones you need are alway out of production.

    It looks gorgeous, and I like the overall style better than AoT. Can we have a new Macross with Mikimoto Characters, please?

    All the planetside scenes (maybe except the "cliffhanger") have the visual appeal of the paper & wood sets of the Original TV Series. I wait for somebody trying to sell that as a nod to the old fans.
