I played the Mechwarrior 4 "cockpit" game over at Dave & Busters in the Edwards Marqe center here in Houston. Basicly a third person shoot-'em-up crapfest. I miss the Battletech simulators they had over in Memorial City Mall, even though I never had the chance to play them.

This is not a double post. I don't consider Bill Spangler and Michael Ling's Robotech II: The Sentinels The Malcontent Uprisings freaking fanfiction. -

That's tame for me. After I read the first few issues of the new comic (after #0 that is), I wanted to lynch the man for what he did to Johnathan Wolff. -

Yes, I was talking about Sideswipe's original G1 incarnation, Fit For Natalie. The 80's Countach was so kick-ass looking. Nice Naikick Avatar, AcroRay, by the way. -
The Escaflowne movie sucked so much in my opinion, I bailed right after I saw Escaflone bleeding. I prefer the Vision of Escaflone TV series.

Well, right now I'm juggling my time between Till the End of Time and The Last Hope. Those of you who have a love for Earth will have a rude suprise for you in Till the End of Time (minorly pissed me off when I first saw the cutscene). In The Last hope, I just got through with the Celestial Ship and just finished off most of the quests (I got Troim deliveries out of the way before the Celestial Ship boss, and I just finished off the Aeos shop deliveries). It's a good game from what I've seen so far.

Here's one that I totally forgot about. Skullhunter from Marvel Comics' Savage Tales. A bounty hunter and his 7-year-old sassy daughter . -

I always wondered what that dickhead looked like. Screw him for taking a good storyline and wiping his ass with it (I'm talking about Eternity Comics' Macontent Uprisings). -

Who the hell do you think runs ADV, Santa Claus? Mr. Macek's been running that company ever since it first started over 10 years ago. -

What did they name the Audi? You know the one, it was sliced in half by Sideswipe at the beginning of the film. I was kinda disappointed about Sideswipe, I was hoping to see a red Lamborghini Countach. Ah, well, GM needs all the freaking money it needs to get out of bankruptcy. -

Well, it seems that Carl Macek has the rights to release the original Macross series complete with the original Japanese voicetrack. I saw a couple of the DVDs that ADV released at a used game store located near FM 529 and Texas State Hwy. 6 (not gamestop). -

I saw the movie on opening day. For the record, Megs gets revived by a shard from the All-Spark cube that was stolen from a military base. The whole move was over the top, full of toilet humor (seeing the RC Decep humping on the hottie's leg was way too much). It continues in the Devastator scene; I didn't believe it until I saw the wrecking ball and the wighted hook. Bay, you're one sick effing puppy. It's hard to believe, but they found a bigger douche-bag than the CIA bastard from the first movie (I mean searching a house without a warrant, give me a break), at least the spook isn't as big a prick in this movie. The "Cylon" wasn't really needied, in my opinion. -

Almost everyone died. Like the Alamo, one guy left to warn the main army (the survivor is the one telling the story, after all). -

Lucky you. 7-11 pulled up stakes here in Houston long ago (Stop N Go bought them out, which was later taken over by Diamond Shamrock, then Valero decided to drop the Diamond Shamrock name...). -
Who's the biggest horndog in all of anime?
Wanzerfan replied to Wanzerfan's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
A horn dog is a guy who does just about anything to get laid (he usually suceeds, too). -

I wouldn't mind seeing a third 48Hrs. movie. The first two were rather good. -

That's nice to hear. I saw the first two series way back in the seventies when it was released as Starblazers. It wasn't until later that I found out that it was created by the same guy who came up with Captain Harlock. I have a question, I know the first series dealt with the Argo (Starblazers referance here) was charged with the mission to deliver a cure to a disease to Earth (I was suprised when I saw the captian was afflicted with the disease). Is season 2 the story of what happens after the cure was delivered to Earth? -
The only series that I know of that had two final episodes, the second of which at least fleshed out the story a little more. (I watched the series when it was on CN's Saturday night Adult Swim block) At least the main character and Eureka get to be together.

The load time on the Normandy lift was especially bad. I did enjoy the banter between crewmembers on the Citadel lifts.

Sadly, I admit that I acually paid for my copies of Robotech Love and War #1 and #2. Those were the comics that actually killed the franchise for me. Biggest mistake Jim Lee ever made, in my humble opinion, was selling his Wildstorm Comics company to Warner Bros. (if you don't know DC Comics is a Time-Warner company). -
Any chance PS3 owners will get a chance for any of the DLC (on a disk, maybe?), or are we screwed, blued, and tatooed?

Please don't tell me that they didn't snag Cam Clarke to do the voice of Maximilliam Sterling in "The Shadow Chronocles". I can see why he used a pseudonym when he did the original Macross Saga of Robotech.
