Clash of the Titans - remake teaser
Wanzerfan replied to Vermillion21's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Okay, so I saw "National Lampoon's Animal House" a few too many times (you know what act of the movie I'm talking about), so you can understand the confusion. Like I said, seeing Liam in a suit of English style full plate was a little much to swallow. -
Well, Yhatzee's already given his two cents on the X-Box 360 version of the game. Like always, watch at your own risk due to rather frank language.

Clash of the Titans - remake teaser

I dunno. I don't think I'll go see a movie that depicts Zeus in a full suit of plate mail armor!!! At least people in the original version of the movie wore friggin' togas! -
That was the CSI: New York chapter of the trilogy. And, yes, I did feel kinda bad he didn't pull the trigger on the prick; that 12-gauge did look good in his hands, though. At least the story arc ended well. So I take it that they couldn't get a contract for Damon MacReady to play Big Daddy. Either that, or was that the alias that ol Nick Cage (Coppola) was going by at the time?

I smell a slander lawsuit coming. I hope you have a good lawyer, DougBendo! As I've stated numerous times, I absolutely hated the movie Starship Troopers with a passion (I think it had something to do with actually reading the masterwork novel before seeing that film). Total Recall was rather good, but not stellar.

Thanks for reminding me that I still can't log on (those schmucks didn't have the courtesy to delete the account, they permanently froze it).

I see Nickelodeon got the rights to air the 2003 version of TMNT; that series is much better than the campfest from the eighties, mainly because they tried to stay true to the source material.

I see no one liked my South Park reference, and yes, I know it was rather disgusting. I just have an abject hatred for Uwe Boll, mainly because he's like King Midas in regards of sh*t instead of gold. Also keep Verhoeven's hands off of it; the only good work to come out of him in a long time was that black comedy, the original Robocop. On the other hand, I would like to see Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's vision of this franchise.

Good lord, it looks like Optimus Prime and Astrotrain had a friggin' love child.

If that son of a bitch gets his motherf*cking hands on that franchise, I will simultaneously projectile vomit and have a case of explosive diarrhea.

Well, Teddy Long has now renewed his "Peanut Head" moniker for accepting a job with that prick Vince McMahon's orginization (I lost all respect with that orginization due to the Chris Benoit fallout a few years ago). Kanyon passed on? I hope it wasn't drug related. In addition, I want TNA to bring back something this sport has been missing for a long time... Bring back THE F*CKING FOUR HORSEMEN!!! ||||- 715 replies

Well, I just rescued , and I have to tell you, it was one of the most difficult puzzles in the game (the puzzle itself was rather easy to solve, completing it without dying multiple times was a pain in the ass). I have to give it to David Jaffe and the team for some rather sick, and logical, puzzles. And speaking of difficult areas of the game, I must've died about 20 times to avoid dying in an Indiana Jones-styled scene. Oh, and I may be a little stinker for saying this, I do have both Aphrodite minigames archived, if you know what I mean. The sickest death so far was Hermes' so far, with Hercules' a close second. The only godly possession I missed so far was Hades, I believe. I thought I missed Posiedion's but I got it later on in the game.

I think I smell a libel lawsuit coming... Hey, Seto... SICK BALLS!!!

We're holding off getting White Knight Chronicles until we stick in a bigger HDD in the machine (we only have the 60GB version, hopefully we can get a TB HDD into the thing; we only got it because of the backwards compatibility built in).

That f*cker has absolutely no sense of humor. I take it back, Steve has an even less sense of humor. I once compared him with "Heartbreak Ridge"'s Major Powers in a joke. He didn't find very amusing; I recieved an e-mail telling me that I wasn't welcome anymore. The SSgt. Chuzu's line I alluded to in the movie for the joke was "...his farthole's soaked so tight, he shits out of his mouth." That little joke paved the way to a permaban; what finally did it for me was my opinion of what they did to the non-cannonized storylines-I flat out said they threw them into the trash. I'm suspicious that it was Maverick that finally dropped the permaban hammer on me.

What Current Anime Series Are You Watching? v2.0
Wanzerfan replied to Duke Togo's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
The only series I've seen where they had to redo the final episode (episode 50 was a rehash of 49 because Kawamori made it so damned confounding, and left more plot holes in it than it solved) That's Crispin Freeman, who's been doing work since he took over Zelgaldis' role in episode 14 of the Original The Slayers series. He also did the voice of Alucard in the original Hellsing series. -
The Poesiedon death scene was quite disturbing to say the least. Right now I just entered Hades domain, and am enjoying the game.
-
God, so far does this game look pretty, and the controls are like the first two games (I didn't get a chance to finish the second game before starting III; sad, isn't it?). I only got to the point of the Poesiedon boss fight before I had to turn it off, so I didn't play enough to give a full reveiw. Linda Hunt is back as Gaia (boy does she ever get f*cked up during the tutorial level) as well as the actor that did Kratos. I'll post a full review later.

Worst Science Fiction Film of All Time
Wanzerfan replied to JELEINEN's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Here's one for all you mecha fans... "Robot Jox" God, Gary Grahm (sp.?) should really stick to making Alien Nation television series movies. On a related note, who does the better Matt Sykes, James Caan or Gary? My money's on Caan. -
Maybe not, but he was on good relatons with the company, so that would make the suppositon even more insidious.
-
I also sense somewhere Carl Macek pulling some of this web's strands.

Well, the WII finally released the sequel to one of my favorite games for direct download. Now we know what happens to one of my favorite characters, Kain. Not only is there a core game, there are stories of many different characters, you just need the points to get them. I'll give a full review once I start playing the game.

Keep drinking the Flavor-Aid, guys. If Global Warming exists, how come we had one of the coldest winters on record??? Screw Al Gore. Besides, we as a human species are responsible for probably less than one one hundreth of one percent of the global climate. The late Geoirge Carlin was right, if the planet wants to get rid of us, it wll shake us off like a bad case of fleas.
