The only way to have both people loyal to you is to have either your Paragon or Renegade level maxed out; it's best to leave Jack's loyalty mission for last (before you go for Legion, that is).I found out something about the glitch involving Grunt. It wasn't that my brother couldn't pump points into his loyalty skill, it's that he couldn't use Advanced Training to give Shepard the Fortification Skill. When he told me that, I went ahead and checked on my original Mass Effect 2 career (Jethro; I'm an N.C.I.S. fan, what can I say) and tried it out. It worked. All I can say is that if you get Grunt's loyalty on your first playthrough, make sure that you can have Shepard learn his skill through advanced Training. Once you have the Grunt's Achievement, you don't need to worry about it. I'm not worried, since as my bonus power this time around I chose Geth Shield and have it mapped to the left bumper (I want the weapon boost when I reach level 4 with that skill). Trust me, that skill will save your ass. About the M-5 pistol, Christ, that thing rocks. My only problem with it is the low max ammo count for your thermal mags, though; also having the equivalent number of shots per thermal mag as a revolver doesn't help matters any either.

Maybe not on the Insanity setting, I'll wager.

I just imported my Vanguard character into Mass Effect 2 and found something strange, I recieve 7 Renegade points for importing my character (I went the pure Paragon path). That confused me for a while until I realized something: When I became a Spectre in the First Game, I recieved a Skill point in Intimidate, and since that skill is tied to the Renegade path, I guess that's where those points came from. We too went ahead and got the new Kestral and weapon packs; my brother loves the new sniper rifle, and that laser-sighted heavy pistol is also very cool.

If Mega Blocks comes out with a Mass Effect line, I will personally lead a lynch mob to go sack the company building.

My mistake about Space Precinct, but if I remember correctly, Space Rangers was aired by CBS. -

Worst Science Fiction Film of All Time
Wanzerfan replied to JELEINEN's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I don't think I ever saw an episode, but the reason why was probably the series was so bad, the network decided to shitcan it.When you first posted that YouTube video, I thought you were talking about Space Rangers. I saw the first episode of that series, and thought it was pretty good. I don't think the network shared my opinion, because that series was shitcanned after a few episodes. What stood out in that episode was the line near the beginning that the guy with the cyber-prosthetic said (mainly because it was one of the first times the word was used in a television series not by its true definition. "Bitch, bitch, bitch, that's all you were ever good at." At least the word wasn't used in a derogatory way . Damn it, I qouted the wrong post. I was supposed to have quoted Keith's, not Dynaman's . -
Machete starring Danny Trejo, Deniro, Seagal, Alba, etc!
Wanzerfan replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The main reason why the film went into production is because Rodriguez wanted to make a statement regarding the recent controvesial Arizona legislation. You know, the one that gives local police powers to enforce federal legislaton that is already on the books. -
I think I smell a R.I.C.O. lawsuit coming

Good lord, I now have a new love. Whoever in the Mass Effect Universe came up with the Colossus armor, I'll kiss his ass in the middle of the Citadel Council chambers. God, from what I've seen, it's the best armor of the game. I first saw the line when I chose the Quarian armor as my reward for Bring Down the Sky adventure (I had the chance of taking the leader's omni-tool, but I was more intrigued by the armor) and fell in love with it. After I saw the stats for the Human version of the light armor, I quit shooting for being able to equip medium armor. Right now I'm at the Citadel on a final shopping spree before I go off to Vermire. I also want to get whatever crew banter out of the way before I start the endgame sequence.

The suprising thing is that most of the people who worked on Tactics Ogre went on to work on Final Fantasy Tactics. -

I'll do that when I make either an Engineer or a Infiltrator character, since when I takled that mission Tali's Hacking wasn't up to snuff (I think she was tier 1 at the time). Besides, this is my second playthough of the game; I have the Achievement that grants me the experience point bonus for everything I do, so I'm not too worried about XP.

Jesus, did I forget how much a f*cking bitch that third bunker on Luna was in Mass Effect 1 was. If you think it bad when you're a Soldier, try doing it when you're a level 20-something Vanguard. After dying about 10 f*cking times, I had to run like a little bitch (I raised my Barrier beforehand, so I wouldn't get squeegeed),after taking a few of them out, with Garrus and Tali in tow, praying to all that was holy that we wouldn't eat a rocket, to the area at the back where the VI relays were. Luckily the drones didn't follow, so I only had to worry about the three that show up when I blow the first relay. I went ahead and took the rest of the relays out because I didn't want to deal with those rocket tossing cocksuckers. I'll take the XP hit for not taking those drones out the old-fashioned way. I decided to take the Survivor specialization route (I think that's what it's called). Well the good thing about that mission is that I got my First Aid, Barrier, and Shotgun Achievements out of the way. I think I'll now go take out the crimelord missions.

Since the site was overhauled, whenever I hit the see the new post button for a thread I've never been to before, it takes me to the first page, and sad to say, I hardly notice the dates of the posts that strikes my fancy when I leave a snarky response for them.

*Pulls size 12 New Balance shoe out of mouth* Okay, guys, I didn't realize the acronym when I first read it, and it confused me. For the record, I do know that there are Toys 'R Us stores in the area. Yet another case where I embarass myself completely. Anyone can ask a question, but it takes someone with integrety to ask a stupid one and own up to how painfully obvious the answer is when it is given.

I just recently started Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver for the umpteenth time. I do have one thing to say about the game, though. It has one of the best opening cutscenes in any vidogame!!! And that's saying someting about a game for the PS-X. -
TRU must be a regional store, since there are none in the Houston, Texas area. The store might not even be in the United States, for that matter. The only stores that even carry Transformers near me are the Copperfield Target and Wally-World (my little nickname for Wal-Mart).

When I first read the title of the thred, I thought it was about the Sly Cooper/Infamous developer. Silly me.

I am not a happy camper. I had to start my second Mass Effect playthrough completely over. It's not that I screwed up on any quest or anything like that, but something else. It seems that to be able to access the Bring Down the Sky content for ME1 you have to have it installed in every game profile, not like Mass Effect 2 where all profiles have access to the DLC; it's not a problem on that front, since we have the Platinum Hits version, though; I just had to install the content on my profile. I hope Pinnacle Station doesn't fall into the same category. That would be a waste of around 800 Microsoft Points. What a waste of 20 hours of gameplay . Oh well, time to build another Vanguard.

That looks like something from a flash game that Newgrounds.com would post. -
Anybody here catch the Pawn Stars segment with the guy trying to sell his Transformers collection? I think Chumlee said it best: "Holy mother of Transformers". Even Rick was suprised at how much that collection was worth. As for Arcee, J.T. Silversmith, I still think Arcee would look better with a 1957 Cadillac El Dorado as her alt form. A, as in the words of Denis Leary, "hot f*cking pink" one.

Well, I just beat Mass Effect 2 for the first time saving not only all the Normandy crew, but without losing any of my team members (got my long service Achievement for importing my Shepard from the first game), and decided to play through the first game again (Vanguard this time instead of a soldier, using the default Shepard appearance, though). Little did I know when finishing the first game that I had to hack the human ambassador's comp to get me started on the Bring Down the Sky content. I'm going to wait until I recruit Liara to get that content done. As for losing any of the crew in ME2, I have a sneaking suspicion that you have to at least attempt, but not necessarily succeed, all the loyalty missions before the Joker incedent happens (It happened right after I succeeded Legion's loyalty mission). I'm not entirely sure, though.
