Worst Science Fiction Film of All Time
Wanzerfan replied to JELEINEN's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Now I can see why Eric Roberts is in Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab . -
I saw the Mass Effect 3 trailer and it's rather good. The guy making his stand in a ruined Canterbury Clock Tower is a nice touch (little known fact: Big Ben is the name of the largest bell in that particular tower, not the tower itself).

Yeah, ghouls do bleed. They're just very irradiated humans. My views on the multiplayer of these games: Red Dead Redemption: Join a Posse if you're in Normal Free Roam, otherwise you're going to be looking a loading screen a lot. Fun when you get a posse going, though. Medal of Honor: Combat so realistic that you will receive a lot of cheap deaths. If you can get past that, it's a good game. Call of Duty: Black Ops: Multiplayer is fun, fixes most of the problems that Modern Warfare 2 had. I don't know which killstreak award is the most annoying to eat: Modern Warfare 2's Tactical Nuke or Black Op's RC-XD. Another complaint of mine that not only you have to buy everything, including perks, with COD points, obtaining the pro versions of said perks are a pain in the ass. Of the recent military first-person-shooters multiplayer games I'd play Black Ops over Medal of Honor. I will play Medal of Honor, but only if I'm in a masochistic mood. -
Good lord, I hope the rumors about Firefox coming to the PS3 are true, because the browser that came with the 60GB system sucks. This post has been written using the PS3's browse.

As you can see, I played through Mordin's loyalty quest with Garrus as my second squad character in Mass Effect 2.

I do know that Manga Entertainment released Macross Plus on VHS years ago.

Well, I saw the first few episodes of this one. It's pretty good. The first episode has a cameo of Wolverine, but without the claws. It also had the Red Skull in it, but had him leading Hydra (P.C. S.O.B.'s removed all reference to the NAZI party, which was annoying), and had a spetacular Bucky death scene. I didn't like how they protrayed Klaw, but I'm more used to the comic book version, where he's a being composed of nothing but sound. They even made The Hulk a intellegent brute, instead of the childlike personality he started out with. Iron Man's identity is public in this series like the movies. The only character I didn't recognize was Graviton, and I wonder if he's an established character or one created just for this series. I like the look of Janet Van Dyne (The Wasp) in this one. And Harry Pym's a little too much an optimist where criminal rehabilitation is concerned (but that's maybe because I live in a state that views imprisonment as punishment rather than rehabilitation). At least Thor isn't portrayed as a complete ignorant fool (Baldur even had an appearance in the series). I'll say more when I see more of the series.

I wonder, who are they going to have to play Bucky? And how are they going to show his death scene?

The Xbox 360 Thread Pro Edition
Wanzerfan replied to Apollo Leader's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I just found out that is does, but the console automaticly downloads the emulator when you boot the disk. My brother decided to delete both files because he thought that was the reason why we kept getting booted off of XBox Live (until I found out and told him about the wireless adapter sucking, that is). -

Well, I now know why I keep being dumped from XBox Live. The wireless adapters Microsoft makes totally sucks (we even have the twin antennae version). Whenever the antenna's bandwith received exceeds a certain point, the XBox 360 dumps the i.p. address, and I have to shut off and restart the console. I hope Microsoft makes a better adapter, because I'm getting rather sick and tired of being dumped mid Halo Reach match. -
I second that motion.

Let's not froget that certifibly insane genius Seth Green and his brainchild Robot Chicken. It it just me, or is Seto Kiaba using Jo-Jo as his avatar?

I was turned off when I saw this piece when they ran it on American television (I think Cartoon Network ran the series on what I call their Sunday night "Crap Block", I'm not sure). Weird just stars to describe the show.

And the title of the Chapter that follows that particular line in Halo 2 says it all: HK-47 has always been a riot in the KotOR games.

Star Blazers was excellent for the time (I don't know if it's a part of Harlock's universe or not). the scene I remember from that seres is when Alex Wildstar used the Wave Motion Gun in a way it wasn't designed for to get the Argo out of a very sticky situation.

Well I have news on the Eighties Music front. The original lineup of The Cars is finally reuniting! The other orginal lead singer (the one who didn't die of cancer ) finally got off his high horse and decided to return to the band. Todd Rudgren (Liv Tyler's guardian) probably did allright with the band. I also just found out about something regarding Aerosmith. Both Stephen (sp.?) Tyler and Judgement Day host Tommy Tallarico are cousins (Steve's real last name is Tallarico)! Oh and I don't think we'll be hearing anything about King Cobra anytime soon. According to VH-1 Classic's 100 Most Metal Moments, the lead singer got a, well, sex change, and is out of the music business entirely.

I was talking about the blind alleys and narrow streets of that area of Manhattan. I heard that area was a nightmare to navigate if you weren't a native New Yorker.

There's no need to be hostile, guys (the facepalm is a little extreme in this case). I just thought, but wasn't sure, the work was something goofy from the name (who, but a die-hard sci-fi buff ever heard of a Triffid?), not some materpiece like Heinlein's book Starship Troopers. At least Verhoeven's not going to touch Triffids (he got so many things wrong in the Starship Troopers movie I'm still pissed pissed at him; that and Casper Van Deim (sp.?) couldn't act his way out of a damed paper bag). I wonder if Bruce Campbell is going to be in Triffids, since Raimi's going to be directing it (he's been involved in almost everything regarding Raimi, includidng the Spider-Man movie video games). I think it's unlikely, though, since he's working on Burn Notice.

I know that. The base number of the Attribute (including implant) is used in determining whether or not you can get a perk that has a minimum Attribute value as a prerequisite (to get the Level 12 Sniper Perk you need to have a natural (implanted) Perception of a 6). -
Kain: "Cast him in." -Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 Garrus Vakarian: "I had the reach, she had the agility."-remarking on his sparring match "overtime session" with a female Turian crewmember in Mass Effect 2

Not a double post. Penders is also a decent inker. The work he did on Knuckles the Echidna #28 was pretty good. Just started Fallout: New Vegas, and am about to have the time of my life in the Mojave Wasteland The Great Basin. I'm going for a rather decent sniper/sneaker build. My starting stats (bear in mind that I'm not min/maxing for my first character; I didn't want to nerf myself in a particular Attribute): S: 5 P: 6 (I know, kinda low for a sniper, I hope to get an implant to rectify this; at least I can get the Sniper Perk at level 12) E: 5 C: 5 I: 6 (I wanted the minor skill point boost) A: 7 (Critical for my Guns and Sneak Skills, and my V.A.T.S. regeneration) L: 6 (I'm planning on gambling, so I figured a little boost wouldn't hurt) Tag Skills: Guns (for the Sniper Rifles) Sneak (so I can get the drop on the bastards before they even see me) Repair (do I need to give an explanation why I chose this one?) Traits: Trigger Discipline (I'll take the 20% firing speed for the 20% accuracy boost) I think I'll go for Wild Wasteland on my second playthrough, as well as the Hardcore mode. -
I wonder, is it any worse to get lost in Tokyo than it is to get lost in Greenwich Villiage in Manhattan (god, from the maps I've seen, the layout of that section of New York is a nightmare to navigate)?

I hear Cetera still won't speak to the remaining members of Chicago, and even refused a Behind the Music interview. I hope it's not as bad as the feud that Abbots have with Anselmo (they didn't let Anselmo attend Dimebag Darryl's funeral) or the one that Danzig has with The Misfits (don't even mention the name of that band to Danzig; that man will kick your ass for even mentioning it in his presence), because I would love to see ol' Pete fronting Chicago again. Post fixed.
