I dont know about the A B C prizes but I know the SD models only 1500 were made of each, they were only sold in 1 chain of combini stores in Tokyo only and sold out in 2-3 days. Each store had limited stock, like 10-20 items, in fact Banpresto had a list of stores posted on their website because it was so hard to find. I won a 14inch soft vinyl dragonballz figure from banpresto in a crane game over the weekend, according to banpresto's website there are only 5 game centers that have it available to win... I figure it in both cases it is playing up the limited ability plus the difficultness of winning the item...

It cost me 300 to win Klan from a store and basically a full set, the prices are actually about right when you take into account how much it costs to get the items in the first place.

You need a Japanese mobile phone, when you register you have to register your phones terminal ID, meaning it wont work in a browser, believe me I really wanted to type the numbers rather than push them in on a keypad, I entered in a bunch and didn't win... Hey with that said I could entry them in for you

Yeah they are the second chance draws, every ticket you buy at a store you get a second chance by registering and entering in a ticket number at banpresto's site, Ive registered all mine and not won

Just show it to her as soon as you get it, she probably doesn't know much about Macross Frontier so just say something like I ordered this and look at what they sent me, isn't it ridiculous, must be a joke right? Make a joke that you also think it's over the top and then say well I can't let that money goto waste and display it where you want. She's think it's a joke figure that you keep around...

I hit the jackpot, I found a store that has a bunch of stuff, I tried to win the A and B figures but after 100 dollars and a few sports towels later I had to give up. I might try tomorrow if people are interested, I made the store guy check the back and they had more there as well... I'm going to keep a set for myself but I'll ebay the rest for people interested. I went to pickup the remaining items, they were nearly all gone, but I got a few items including two ichibans! woo! Basically it's now sold out in Japan, at least at combini stores, I'll try to find it in another store and get more items... I'll post the ebay items shortly

The photo in my ebay auction is the photo of the actual product I am selling, if you want I could pull it and sell direct but you would have to pay via paypal and I would think ebay + paypal would be a safer option. I live in Japan so I you can't really visit or you pickup... well I guess you could but I'm sure the final price would be out of your price range if you include airfare.
