  1. rick is easier to type than hikaru. I think the 1/60's are good toys but they wont take over my shelves!
  2. Ive noticed a lot of people prefer the new 1/60's to the 1/48's. How??? I've bought 3 1/48's and love them. Big, plenty poseable, look great, and did I say big? And I just got my flexi display stands and my rick with strike parts looks great with the sprawled out gerwalk going on.
  3. I dont play with mine but I do like displaying them out of the box. I dont think its that bad when your not actualy ripping the box open and ruining it. I use to collect star wars and left most of them in the box.
  4. oh and as far as the engineering in these toys... try and figure out how it could be real. That will boggle your mind. Kinda like thinking about the end of the universe.
  5. Well I lied. I actually got ricks VF-1A with super parts in 1/48 scale. Im just diggin the 1/48 size. And I also hate my v1 1/60 roy. That things a pita. Kinda turned me off from the 1/60's even though they are much better now.
  6. The should make a ghost X-9 (is that what its called?) from plus to finish off the collection. Cant imagine it would be that hard
  7. Hey guys, A generic question but I have the Vf-0A with ghost and the thing came with 3 of the gun pods for the top of the plane and only 1 for the wings. I sent for the overdrive replacement thing. Sound like something they will cover? Oh and its suppose to come with 2 and 2.
  8. Stick to your guns. My stuff doesnt move. I think it has something to do with my mom throwing my stuff out as a kid. You can let them do whatever they want but if you have a hobby it doesnt matter to them and they want it gone. Just raise your pimp hand!
  9. Ok I think I decided. Im liking Ricks VF-1A with super and strike parts. Im into the old school robot head.
  10. Yeah Im not that old. I was 14 15 years ago but I have always collected something. I really bought my first valk 9 or 10 years ago. I bought Jetfire in the box off of a guy in highschool. He said it was too complicated for him so he never played with it. Just now I need to fill my deltolf cabinet. I did have a lot of WW2 German things in them but now they are all packed away and safe.
  11. would like to see it. setting up the lights to work shouldnt be hard but getting the wires to blend in or look acceptable... that could take a lil skill.
  12. Just wondering if anyone has ever thought of adding LED's to their valks for display. Might not look bad to have the red and green wing lights with a simulated spot light underneath. And with how small some of these things are it might not be hard to hide. What made me think of this is a lit up fold booster pic which I think yamato used. Would look really cool in a dimly lit display case. What do you think?
  13. Im really liking the 1/48 size though.... Ugg
  14. Man I really dont know. I love the 19 and the 1/60 looks great but since I already have the 1/72 Im kinda hesitant. I would like to get the 21 as I just watched macross plus last night and it was everything I remembered. Only thing is I think the 21 looks bad in gerwalk and battroid modes. Im not into the frontier stuff. I only like the VF-0 from zero. So I think I need to stick to the roots. So many decisions. Wasnt like this 15yrs ago!
  15. Hey fellas, I pop in and out of the macross scene every few years and just started buying valks again. I currently have Full jetfire set An old 1/60 yamato fokker first gen 1/72 YF-19 1/48 super max and have these on the way VF-0 with ghost 1/48 cannon fodder Now what should I buy next? Wouldnt mind the 1/60 YF-19. The 1/72 looks kinda dated. I dunno. Reccomend any 1/48's or 1/60's to round out the collection?
  16. I have to say I like the look of the old VF's. The new ones look too much like gundam in battroid mode.
