Guess who might direct the new Superman Movie....
tom64ss replied to Ladic's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I hope your joking. Superman IS the original. Geez... Really? What about Achilles for one....or Odysseus(or however you spell it) Geez Beowulf is the original. You can tell Max is a Hulk reader. B) I like Superman as a comic and Kristin Kreuk makes Smallville worth watching, but I don't like the idea of them making a new Superman. Especially if they try making it with Shamalayian and Brendan Frasier. Do we really need more Superman? -
If they were hot, I would like to be that man. Vostok 7 ...and if they're not hot, that's what the vodka's for.

That would explain the flying pigs I saw this morning.

I hope snarf means it's coming out and the capital "C" means it's "carbonated". Peter Cushing looked like a zombie even when he was young. Him and Vincent Price were just creepy looking people if you ask me. Great movies though. cobywan- Darth Dumbass BoB-Yoda on Yoshinol LMAO

Gakken 1/35 Legioss/Alpha Repro Stickers
tom64ss replied to tom64ss's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Wow guys, thaks for bumping this for me. Mary's been really busy the last three weeks, so I haven't really seen her too much. I'll probably see her tonight, and hopefully have a real update for everyone by the end of this weekend. Thanks for all the support guys. Tom -
I didn't have any problems with the leg armors. The key is to put the bottom "slot" in before the top "peg". The "side" leg pieces went on like butter. I do however have the problem with the micro missles, and it seems to be the rack that's the culprit. If you're lookin at the Valk and FPs head on, the right, bottom, single micro-missle slot on the rack seems like it refuses to hold the single micro missle. I have 3 sets of FPs and I have the same problem with all 6 missle racks. That and arms that don't lock in place in fighter mode are the only complaints I have with the FPs. Other than that, Woooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My 1/48s look so freaking cool now.

That's pretty cool. Here's my favorite line: "....this is not some knock off!" It's not? Then what the heck is it?

That's made from a 1/55? Sweet! Another beautiful custom. Can't wait to see it finished.

I could have sworn he played the Goblin's kid. Granted, I didn't actually look at the cast list, but the actors must look an awfully lot alike. Nope, that was James Franco. They do kinda look alike though.
-
That's what scares me......he may LOOK evil but he needs to have the acting chops to play the part correctly (that rough/smooth skin line in Episode 2 didn't help one bit). I don't think it's his acting ability. He did a great job in Spiderman. But even the best actor can only do so much with bad writing. He was in Spiderman? edit: I think you're thinking of James Franco. He was also in "City by the Sea" and the TV show "Freaks and Geeks". Hayden Christensen was good in "My Life as a House", but he still played a whiney little b1tch in that movie.

I don't like the MPCs, so naturally, I like my HCM more. Like many HCM owners, I have no idea where the whole "fragile" thing came from. I've never had any problems with mine (I wish I could say the same for the MPC I bought, but I can't, hence my disappointment towards it.) Maybe its fragile compared to a Chunky Monkey, but not compared to any of the other Valkyrie toys out there.

The other problem is that HG has been known to be less than truthful. Nobody here believes them, even if we hear it from them directly. Now why would they lie about whether or not their name is on a book? Despite all your guy's pessimism, it's pretty damn believable that they are putting their name on Trash. Why would they lie about the metal content of their MPCs? Why would they lie about exactly what rights they hold? Why would they lie about anything they lie about? Simple. The same reason most people lie, because it suits them and their goals. I'm not saying that their definitely BSing people about this, but they don't exactly have the best track record. Them being full of $hite is just as believable as them putting their name on Trash. (that is funny. )

Narcissism is best when the person freely admits it. -
Wouldn't that be the same size w/ a neck?

If there are no objections and you recast them, I'll definitely purchase one. What ever happened to Chris anyway?

A picture would help. So far, all I know is the height. edit: Ya beat me to it

Great job Jarrod!

I used to be a big comic collector too. The only ones I still look for are First comics. (Grimjack, Nexus, Badger etc.. -
I wish I knew how to do that. Your paint schemes would lend themselves well to it, although since its a toy, it maybe hard to make it not look "cut and pasted".

Sweet ride wrylac. My friend Jon has a 2.5 RS too. I have Outback Sport. Driving that in the rain is the most fun you can have in a car with your pants on. One of my more expensive hobbies is my '64 Malibu SS. I dropped a '82 Suburban 350 and a Muncie 4 speed in it. I came with a 4.11 posi which makes up for the torque minded build-up of the truck V8. I also play bass and collect music. I'm more of a vinyl than MP3 guy . I like pretty much any type of music, but most of my collection is soul, country/rockabilly, punk, and reggae. And of course, there are the pre-requisites (women, booze, movies, Simpsons) -
Nope, he didn't. He said that he didn't know.

Yes it would... We just have to wait... A fun trick to pass the time is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I took the ferry over to Shelbyville to get a horn for my shoe. So I got a ferry ticket to Morganville, which was what we called Shelbyville at the time, and I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. Now a ticket for the ferry cost only a nickel, and back then, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. "Five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now where was I? Oh yeah, the important thing is, I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, you couldn't get white onions, because of the war. All you could get were those big yellow ones... -Dad, remember those self-hypnosis courses we took to help us ignore Grampa? -Do I ever! It's five years later and I still think I'm a chicken. I'm a chicken, Marge! mmmmmm.....GBP

Did you try and contact them?
