I'm not upset, not at all. But I noticed my speculation thread is gone and Graham changed his signature. Out of curiosity, I was just wondering what happened. I'm guessing that information that was not suppose to be out yet was leaked by someone other than Graham, but I suppose there's a chance that some people got in a heated discussion that got out of hand. Personally, I wouldn't have locked it because it was about Rainbow Brite, I would've locked it for lack of purpose. Only two real points were touched upon by Stargazer: 1)Does anyone remember Rainbow Brite? Obviously, anyone who would even respond in that thread, remembers Rainbow Brite. 2)He wanted to get a copy of some of the old shows. That could be much more effectively put in the "wanted" section. Sci-Fi and other Anime has about 15 topics started everyday. It needs to be weeded of topics that aren't going anywhere. Had Stargazer started the exact same thread in "wanted", I'm pretty sure it never would've been touched by the mods.

That's them. It's the lighting that makes it so that you can't see the hollowed out wings. The first pic, the plane on the left, you can just barely make out the lip of where the wings hollowed out on the back of the right wing.

Fans may want Jazz to be a Porsche, but nothing says that he has to be. Side Swipe received a new vehicle form. Isn't the Japanese for Side Swipe Lamboru or something. Was that based on the original car mode? True, Jazz does not have to ba a Porsche. Smokescreen/Bluestreak/Prowl were all Datsun/Nissans in G1 and now two of them are Subarus, and Sideswipe was originally a Lamborghini and now it's a Dodge. But......, the reason it can't be Jazz is that, so far, one of the things they have been consistant about is that they kept the color of vehicles from G1: Smokescreen-Still mostly blue with racing markings Sideswipe-Still bright red Hound-Still dark army green Bluestreak-Still silver So I say, yes, Jazz could be a Mazda (though I'd be really diappointed), but I really don't think he'd be red.

I got the same one. I think it's well worth the money despite the hollow wings. It was about $18-19 and this thing is a heavy bastard from all the diecast. No glue or modification needed as the whole thing screws together. The wings don't even bother me as much as the fact that from the front, you can see the screws in the intake, but for under $20, I'm more than satisfied with it. I was thinking about filling the wings w/ Bondo and making a Shin too, but that's not going to be any time soon. I'll try and take some pictures when I get home. edit: Oh yeah, price versus product, the Franklin Mint ones are terrible up close.

The 1/76 vinyl figures gift sets came with a couple different valks (IIRC, Hikaru's VF-1J and Max's VF-1J, maybe some others, I can't recall), but the 1/55 gift set only came with a VF-1S.

Went to Walmart over here in New Jersey last Friday and they had 8-10 Smokescreens. I grabbed one and my friend Mike grabbed 2. As others have said, I found them next to the diecast model cars (Maisto, etc....)

Come on Hurin, aren't you doing exactly what Max said you'd do? You're being overly sensitive and "crying him a river". (Whoa, that's a big river. ) After reading everything you and he wrote, my two cents is he was just busting your chops and this is blowing it way out of purportion. Max is a sarcastic wiseass, he's like that with everyone. If you just think that to yourself between the time you read what he writes and when you actually think about it, you'd probably take it less personally and understand his sense of humor a little better. edit: editted out most of the quote. too long.
