It's been awhile since I watched Frontier. What color are the armor parts on the canon fodder anyway? Same as the 171EX?

I really wish they sold those warheads separately like davidwhangchoi mentioned earlier. I could use some for my two Alto 171s!

Thing is, I believe NY would be subject to the same price as we are (the web price from Tamashii). Keep in mind they have to make a profit so they mark up based on the web price. Depending on that markup, NY could be a little cheaper but then you add in shipping. So Tamashii web price is the cost and maybe they mark it up 15% or maybe 20%. Maybe they don't mark it up at all but they make the profit off the higher shipping price. We'll find out in the coming days, I guess. Either way is good though

You should be able to change shipping. You're likely only locked in to the quoted preorder price of the item.

Probably not much help on my part but depending on the item, I choose EMS with tracking to get it quicker. My reasoning is the less time it spends in transit, the less chance the shipment is damaged or lost. This really does depend on what item I am purchasing though. If I have to choose the slow boat or cheaper options, I always get the ones that offer some kind of tracking.

I really wish they would do a renewal of this one. The current one isn't all terrible but it could be waaaay better. Reviews show it to be really floppy and I'm not too keen on the way the color of the plastic looks in many pictures.

Specifically the chest does not lock down. Gravity is the only thing keeping it in place. It's just poor engineering I still like what we got but it can be much better. The Bandai V1s are a bigger sin IMHO.

I haven't looked too deeply at how this works but i agree. Now if they can lock down this yen conversion and only do it one way, I'd be inclined to possibly send them more of my business. I think it would be better if they locked the system down to only charge in yen and make you pay in yen. The dollar amount should only be shown as a courtesy so that there is no mistaking what a customer is being charged. None of this "I'll make you pay in dollars or yen depending on how favorable the conversion is." Keeps both ny and customers honest as far as I'm concerned. Keep it simple.

I've dealt with Yokattaweb! In fact, I have a preorder pending with them right now (Super packs for the YF-29 30th Anniv.). You'll need to treat them like a proxy buyer though. I don't believe they keep any stock on hand. Basically, if there is a web exclusive preorder, you email them and send them a link of the preorder you want to purchase. They then email you back with an order number and a request for Paypal payment. Since these are web exclusive preorders, they will require you to pay up front. I got one of my VF-4G's from them this way. You can probably use them to bid on auctions for you as well but I've never done that. The problem is that the preorders for the Alto and Ozma Super and Armor packs are long past and over (Bandai closed them). I've never known Yokattaweb to order anything and keep stock on hand...I'm not sure if you're gonna get lucky on these. ...only thing I can think of is that one of their customer's may have cancelled out on a preorder and requested a refund and they happen to have the stock available from that. They're a proxy buyer so try not to cancel out on orders unless you really have to though

This is VERY true! The VB-6 was the beginning of when Bandai's design and engineering stopped shi*tting the bed! I have the same VB-6 (Special Edition) and it is the best Destroid toy out there as far as I'm concerned. It's better than Yamato's Tomahawk for the simple fact that it transforms (and I love Yamato's Tomahawk too!).
