    I can't really remember since I remove all traces of tape when I open these things. I'm pretty sure there was tape on the plastic trays though.

    Not sure how accurate this is... I bought a first release Sideswipe off of Amiami back in October last year and my sticker is crisp like the top one. Also, the head has the shorter crest and the sharper angled eyes. The knock off should have a taller crest and squarish eyes. Unless they have the holograms backwards in this pic, I don't think that's a good indicator.

    It's "gold" to certain parts of the U.S. though. Yes, we know the actual color is yellow but we still refer to it as "gold." It's symbolic and cultural. Example, our American football team the Pittsburgh Steelers. I grew up in that city and we've always referred to them as the black and gold even though we very well knew the actual color is yellow.

    I just checked both of mine recently and I can see very small (smaller than hairline) fractures in the plastic. They haven't shattered yet and are holding but they are there if I look at it in broad daylight. Heart sank a little but I'm not very worried and I'm certainly not gonna rage out about it. I'm just gonna wait for the inevitable shapeways fix.

    I don't recall them ever having a short preorder window. They've always been on the order of days or weeks. Never seconds or minutes.

    That Caesar 003 makes me so jealous! I only have the portable version coming... I've been a fan of Ash Wood before he started making toys. Always loved his art and I like his spin on things. I mostly buy his original properties though.
