Is there anyone left who hasn't received their NY Preorder?
-
That does suck but as long as they can spare the warehouse space they can likely sit on that price as long as they need to. It only takes a few impatient customers...
-
Goddamn! So glad I got all three of my Ozmas and didn't wait around for an aftermarket deflation. ALWAYS bet on Ozzy
-
Gotta agree that this seems like a bad move. I really hope they don't get screwed over
-
I'd probably just print them in grey and call it a day. I'm not a particular man when it comes to these things and to me they'd look just fine
-
Fair enough. I'm of the mind that I'd rather enjoy my toys than worry about a tiny part being unauthentic. The Shapeways part is pretty close though so most people shouldn't think twice in my opinion. I do have about 5 of the kits laying around though
-
Pins just need to be sanded down a little and spare shoulders are Shapeways. My biggest regret is never buying the Super Ostrich when I had the chance...those were the days before the Shapeways fix came around.
-
Don't even know why people still worry about the shoulders. I'd buy any 1/60 VF-1 V2 and not think twice about the shoulder issue. It's the easiest fix in the world...unlike certain Bandai releases!

I believe that's Casey Jones

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

I open anything that isn't blister-carded. I hate blister-cards cause you can't open them neatly. I just stare at the toys in their plastic and cardboard prisons and sigh longingly It's a good thing I don't have many of those -

Just saw it last night and loved it. Probably my favorite Godzilla film now...but that's coming from someone who hasn't followed Godzilla closely. I enjoyed the slow buildup but wished they stayed on the monster action just a tad bit more than they did when Godzilla finally made a showing. Loved the tail swipe and the atomic breath! There's some good stuff in this movie. Was definitely cheering for Godzilla to kick some Muto ass

It's like arguing your favorite Ninja Turtle on the playground up in here 'sides...you're all wrong! Ozma is the best and would beat all those guys in a straight up fight! He's the coolest and has the bestest hair, and the bestest girl...and Mikey is the best, so there!

Count me in on this! I like ALL the Frontier backpack wings. Maybe not practical and prone to damage but whatever...it's a transforming robot plane at the end of the day. If I can tolerate magical purple fold rocks, flying rock logs, space whales, and laser shooting winged vagina, I can handle impractical designs. The wing backpacks are appealing to me.

You know me! I'm in for one (most likely two)

Yes! Got my shipping for my two Ozmas @ NY. Good thing I'm a patient man because it was startin to get hairy! I will finally have my squad of three Ozmas

I have only one 1/48 and that is Focker. I love the thing to death and the Stealth packs I got for him are the greatest. I really wish Arcadia would release the Stealth packs in 1/60...I would buy so many of THOSE it'd be embarrassing
-
Just got mine in from CDJ yesterday and I love her so far! I gotta wait til the weekend to give her the first maiden transformation though
-
Maybe so but I still don't like bending plastic to get things on toys to clip in. Doesn't matter what the degree is to me. I feel the same way with the swiveling shoulders on Yamato/Arcadia's VF-1
-
I think I mentioned this a little while back but, yeah, you're meant to put the stress on the plastic when you slide the stock back in with the handle in the "stow" position. It's a dumb design and I don't like it

I picked up that Super Slyph a few days ago when I saw it. Been lookin all over for one at a good price too

Agree on the detailing but I like the color!

I already have three Ozmas on the way. I can't swing for a fourth so I'm kinda glad I missed HLJ here
