I know nothing about Space Brick...and those colors make me wish I still knew nothing! (also the reason why I did not order Magnus...plus those huge kiddie missiles were always a hideous design, imo) -
That's interesting...I've only ever used Play-asia to get CD/DVDs, printed material and games so they are reputable on that front. Never had any experience getting Valks from them but good luck to those who are trying!

I just got both of my Alto Tornado Packs today but haven't had a chance to mess with them much except open one to take a quick peek. I didn't know the cannons can swivel up and down...what I don't like about them is that they could use a small detent so it's easier to swivel them back to horizontal by feel (and keep them horizontal). I could see myself bumping them inadvertently and then having to eyeball them back to horizontal.

Save some money and just download the marketing pictures they take! If you don't open the box, how do you know some guy who's really good at removing tape hasn't filled the box with some rocks and taped it up all nice and professional-like then kept the Valk for himself

I've tried that in the past but the plastic always comes off looking like I hacked it to bits...so I ended up throwing the card away. Goddamn my OCD!

To add to this, if there was a way to remove carded figures without ruining the card (sometimes they have nice art on them), I would open them. I have some of those VF-1 figures Yamato put out awhile back mint on card. It pains me to not be able to open them Boxes are so much more collector friendly

Same! Funbux got used...plus I rarely welch on a sale unless I feel what I paid was unfair. That's my personal code though.

I open everything except most carded figures. Anything with a flap and tape, I carefully open and enjoy (with tons of care). Gotta enjoy what you got, I say. Plus it allows me to check for broken/missing pieces and factory defects cause I GOTTA KNOW! Remove all tape and adhesives because that stuff ages really badly and will ruin your box anyway.

Google almost always has a better search engine than the ones implemented on most SMB web stores. It's Google after all. Just plug in the name of the store before or after the product you are trying to find. This works for me most of the time.
