    Yeah, out of all the 3P companies out there for TFs, Fansproject caught my eye. I like the chunkiness of the bot modes and they have cool headsculpts. Plus the handsculpts aren't the fused thumb-and-forefinger with circular peghole that is common with TFs in general. That's a small pet peeve of mine. It's the little things... Anyway, gonna try and order a Columpio soonish.

    I didn't want to spend that much on Chewie so I settled for the other half of the duo. I'll just be content with my black series Chewie for now. Something is a little creepy with HT Chewie though...for me it's the lips/expression

    I ordered from SS for the exclusive doodad (functional equivalent of Malibu Stacy's hat) and installment plan but anywhere is good.

    None of my VF-1s have the shoulder problem but I may swap the black ones on my 30th with one of my Roys because I think it would look awesome Just a big fan of grey/black joints & mechanical parts with colored armor in general.

    That reminds me...I'd like to see an unlicensed third party make action figures of characters! No one else seems to want to do it. Plus by the very nature of them being characters instead of Mechs, people would be much more forgiving of taking "artistic license" of the original design (people won't be as nitpicky as they would of a non-SD-not-VF2ss for example). For me, if a company was to make a non-SD Valk, it would have to be as close to the source material as possible, just like my Yamarcadias/Bandais. Unlicensed 3P stuff survives on being JUST close enough to skirt license-holder radar. This lends itself well to the TF community...maybe not so much Macross unless it is heavily stylized like this SDSDF1

    Is that other store(s) or like one store? I think all I got from NY was an order prep email but I didn't care enough to check what order it was for at the time. I've got three of these coming from them.

    I'm hoping for a reissue myself but if I already paid that much I wouldn't mind doing the Shapeways fix with the shoulders in black or grey. I think the contrast would look much better than the original. I get that it's not a look for everybody though.

    Headsculpt is slightly off but it is by no means bad. Not a dealbreaker for me.

    I'm sure someone here would buy it off you and Shapeways it themselves. I'd go that route.

    Finally! Han Solo is my favorite so I'll probably pick one up. Edit: hahah...not bad but yeah, I'm gettin a slight Marky Mark from Han...keep in mind I'm lookin at these from my phone right now.

    I don't doubt a few people had problems but to date they've fulfilled every single one of my Macross Tamashii exclusive orders and I've ordered almost every one through them. Funny enough the only order they could not fulfill for me was the Yammy Kai way back during the panic buyoff during the Arcadia transition. Otherwise my luck has been mostly impeccable with them. I still prefer to put my business elsewhere when possible but this has been my experience with NY. YMMV of course.
