Hate to say it, dude, but you have yourself a problem It looks like you got yourself a lot of duplicates there so I'm not understanding why you can't take at least one of each out and enjoy them. Release them from their cardboard prisons! It's for your own good (and ours).

I've got a 19S coming from HLJ sometime next week so I've been debating on holding my two 171s in the private warehouse until the second week of July. These pictures are making this decision hard though... So happy the hands are integrated.

You should probably set your preferences to have things ship immediately then. It can be done. How long it takes to get the things packed and shipped is something else entirely but hey, if you've had bad experience with HLJ, then that's a perfect reason to be down on them. Anyhow, I like the private warehouse because I like the "Pile of Loot" feature from bbts.com

It's good to have complaints about any retailer out there but only when it's warranted. I understand that people can get impatient when they want their things now (lucky I'm a patient man) but people need to realize that they just this second rolled out a new website and new system and they're hammering out the bugs as it were. I see people submitting requests to do things two or three times when they should be doing it once and waiting. It's just unlucky that this is also the week when the 171 is released at the same time. Just have a little patience is all... ...that reminds me, I gotta move my 171s from the private warehouse to ship.

Just be very careful with the tiny sharp bits and go easy on the bridge and you'll be ok. Also, there is a locking mechanism (it's a small slider/switch) when you gotta swing the body around for transformation. Be sure to disengage that before you start swiveling the main body around. I forgot about that and thought I had to force it around but luckily I stopped and looked at the manual carefully before I went any further and stressed something I shouldn't have. Bridge is not magnetic so you'll have to use a little glue, I believe. There are a bunch of screw covers and cannons you gotta glue to it too.

SO...THIS HANDS THING ...I'm glad to hear that it may be integrated after all. It was my only qualm but I would've kept both of my preorders anyway. Did I mention hands? More hands and then some!

What's so bad about SAL? I've never lost a package nor had to pray that I wouldn't lose one. The only time I've shipped EMS was when HLJ forced it on me because of the total cost of the merchandise was over their threshold for SAL which I was totally ok with. Pretty sure they're gonna ship my 19S by EMS even though my shipping defaults to SAL.

The weekend happened (probably server maintenance or something). I just ordered the 19S myself and didn't get an email confirmation yet. I'm gonna give them about 4 or 5 hours to get into work over there and then check back.

If you're gonna make it look like the toy anyway, then get the toy. If you're gonna customize it and really make it something special and unique then get the unassembled kit. I have the toy and I got it at 15%-20% off and I have no regrets. The finished piece is already a beautiful work of art and I've always wanted a Macross that looks this good. Seriously, only get the kit if you're gonna add all of the bells and whistles...possibly even make a non-canon unique scheme (post pics for us if you are ballsy about doing something wacky like a Focker scheme on your Macross. Loves me some Focker).
