    Just playing a little devil's advocate...how do they know it's legit backups? I hate copy protection period but the blame isn't on Sony alone. It's on the entire business of media and media distribution. They don't trust us and they have no reason to trust us (works both ways). It's a shame really. Yeah...the firmware update is a bluray thing...

    Well it's a little late for that isn't it? Many of us preordered this before any of this stuff came to light (and was confirmed in the flesh by other fans who actually got the disc). Also the reality is that these calls for boycotts of this kind NEVER work. At least I've never seen them work. It ain't about having balls but you can say it's about apathy. The best we can do is complain on the internet, blog, review, etc and hope this trickles over to the powers-that-be at Bandai.

    Looking at the poll now, it's pretty overwhelming among Macross fans that the majority of us want this Valk (at least 1). If the numbers are the same in Japan (and elswhere in the world among Macross fans), I hope this bodes well for a normal release in a different scheme too.

    At least the little red details shows up elsewhere on the Valk. Now if that red hinge was the only thing on the Valk that was red THEN it would really stick out like a sore thumb. Can't wait for my Ozma and Alto packs to come in...and I don't even have an Alto yet!

    Confirmed that CDJ shipped mine out today via SAL so it's gonna be a few weeks for me. I'm really disappointed in these edits but I'll live with it. I've never owned a legit copy of this film so...uh...yay me for supporting Macross even though Bandai and Kawamori fu*cked me over a little (maybe a lot)???

    I'm a little relieved that Cherry Bomb isn't the secret drop today! That means I still got a fighting chance for the next few days. The secret drop ended up being AP JC! I'm still shooting for him but I'm not gonna be crushed if I don't get one. I ended up with both 3 packs and the Kyu with bot head

    It's not wrong at all. I happen to love their IPs though but I'm also a big Ashley Wood fan. When they release stuff that is licensed from other companies, it's a nice extra for me but I mostly buy 3A because of the original stuff that is designed by Wood himself. I'd love a dedicated 3A thread but I think the only two people who would participate are me and anime52k8
