  1. Yeah, both those places are sold out of the VF-1D.
  2. Does this re-issue have the gray visor? Also, did Yamato make the body in the TV white to match the new head and GBP parts (unlike the first issue VF-1J + GBP Armor)?
  3. Where did you pick yours up from?
  4. Anyone know where I can pick up a VF-1D Trainer at a fair price?
  5. Wow, iShop2go isn't offering the 1/60 VF-1A Kakizaki Type TV Version anymore. Did you grab the last one?
  6. I see. Thanks for the clarification, EXO.
  7. I just hope it's not one of those sites that doesn't update their inventory, and you get an email a few days later saying they're out of stock or backordered (stupid Toys n' Joys). Oh well, may we all be happy with our TV Kakizaki VF-1As.
  8. So they're gonna re-issue the T-Rex figures when the Regult debuts, or are you talking about the 20 each that have already been made and sold at Wonderfest?
  9. Thanks, EXO. So will Yamato make their own Zentradi soldier to fit in the Regult?
  10. Man, I wish I had the patience to wait for this deal to pop up. I got ripped off on eBay...
  11. This is probably another dumb question, but what figures are you referring to?
  12. Nice pickup, you got a better deal than I did. Hope you enjoy it.
  13. Uhhh...getting back on topic, does anyone know when this (the Regult HDP Kit) will be available for preorder?
  14. Unfortunately that's the DYRL Version, not the TV Version that's so hard to find.
  15. Did I make the cut???
  16. Make that 2 pm's.
  17. So, how does a guy in The States go about getting one of these?
  18. Dude, you just saved me almost $50! Before I used your link I was searching on OverDrive, but it said the Max TV Version was sold out. I almost paid a hefty premium (and shipping cost) on eBay. Unfortunately, I had to pay the premium for the last Kakizaki TV Version I could find anywhere (on eBay). Oh well, I can't wait to see these 1/60s for the first time.
  19. It's too late, I've had the fever for a while now. I've done some research and it looks like the VF-1A Max and Kakizaki Type TV Versions are the hardest to come by. I'm also really anxious to get a Vermillion Squadron together, and I'm not a huge fan of the DYRL Valkyries. How much is too much to pay for these versions?
  20. I've already picked up every 1/48 VF-1 that I want (since I started 6 years ago), and I've decided to bite the bullet and start a 1/60 Valkyrie collection. I've heard many good things about the version 2 1/60's, and I'm finally admitting that it's the new standard, and if I want a more complete collection I need to start collecting the 1/60's. Which one should I pick up first? I'm planning on eventually getting most of the variants, so which ones are going to be harder to find down the road? Also, which variants should I avoid (for durability issues such as the weak shoulders)? Any insight or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
  21. Finally, someone who agrees with me. Thank you, MacrossJunkie. From all the comparison pictures I've seen, the top of the Battloid's head (not including the lasers) should come to at least the base of the "eye" on the Regult. The 1/60 VF-1S next to the HDP Kit doesn't even come close, considering the Regult is looking downward in that particular picture.
  22. I guess I'm alone on this one. No matter, more power to you all. I suppose I'm just stuck in my 1/48 ways. BTW, where is the sign that says "1/60" for the Regult? I know there's a sign that shows both the Regult Kit and the Max Zentraedi Uniform that verifies the scale of the latter, but it doesn't mention the scale of the HDP Kit.
  23. Yes, back on topic, thank you. Again, can someone at least comment on whether or not this could be considered 1/48 scale? I know 1/60 is now the "standard", but I love my 1/48's. Maybe I'm beating a dead horse here...
  24. It seems to me that this Regult is closer to 1/48 than 1/60. Am I wrong? I dunno, maybe it's my love for 1/48's and my reluctance to start a 1/60 collection that's talking.
  25. This might seem like a stupid question, but has this Regult resin model been confirmed in 1/60 scale? If I'm not mistaken, it's pictured next to a 1/60 Valk, but the Regult looks a little big. Does anyone know of an accurate size comparison of a Regult versus a Valkyrie?
