Luck you, and welcome to the game! I'll probably just pick up Max's version that I found for pretty cheap. As for the 1/48 super strike kit, they're pretty hard to find these days, and if you do manage to locate a set, they usually go for a fairly hefty premium.

Yeah , I thought that little piece (A07) was glued in. Anyone have experience removing this piece? I'd very much like to be able to swap canopies.

It's confirmed. I recently ordered a set from HKCollectibles after reading CoreyD's post and mine also came with the dark blue option parts. Too bad they're sold out now, but if anyone got the second run of these from AmiAmi or HKCollectibles, they might wanna check if they got the dark blue option parts as well.
