  1. Since the original inspiration for the Minmay Guard Paris Act was done on a Hasegawa 1/72 VF-1S battroid in the October '02 issue of Model Graphix, I would have to say that's my preferred mode to display in. I feel that's the mode that portrays the details of the Minmay Guard the best, but fighter mode is a close second (something about the tread marks that run across the fuselage that I've always been fond of).
  2. I'll always have a soft spot for the 1/48s. I remember getting my first 1/48 VF-1S Roy with S&S Parts. Back in undergrad it was all I could afford, but it was my pride and joy. I got back into collecting Macross just before the V2s surfaced, so I ended up getting the "Essential Valks" in 1/48 like Loop mentioned before delving into the 1/60s. I also really dig the "Weathering" versions at this scale, even though the effect is a bit on the heavy side. I still have my first 1/48, and it's still my favorite. After Kurt worked his magic it's now a Minmay Guard Paris Act. Kinda hard to trump that in my opinion, but to each his own
  3. Wow...couldn't make up my mind for the longest time, but finally decided to pull the trigger on this yesterday...must've just made it
  4. Still waiting on M&M?
  5. Where'd you pick up the Weathering set, dimension?
  6. I saw that too...was tempted, but I held off. Must've only been just the 1. Nice pick up, Carceroth!
  7. Great googly moogly!!!
  8. Very cool!
  9. I'm with Kicker on this one...I'd save my Minmay Guard Paris and Moon Act Kurt customs I wish I had the Blue Roses squad as well, but, sadly, Kurt has hung up his hat
  10. Thanks valhary!!! The newest Paris Act color variation looks spot on!
  11. For some reason I'm not diggin' the VF-1D Trainer scheme on the 0D. I'd much prefer a CF/Low Vis or Camo scheme, but to each his own

I would like integral landing gear too, but the bay doors would be minuscule at that scale
  13. I agree, but the 1/48 Low Vis "Woodland Camo" was a super shelf warmer
  14. I like the rainbow tint too, but unfortunately my Weathered DYRL Roy has a tiny peal at the rear of the canopy. Not a huge deal, but I wish it was on one of my other Valks
  15. Hey dapro, is that the version with the rainbow tint canopy?
  16. Nice pickup spanner! I remember they were a pain to track down, even 4 years ago, but I just had to have M&M in the V2 sculpt. Enjoy
  17. Never seen that before...does it come with a special decal set like the other two?
  18. Nice haul Benson13! Where did you track down the VF-1S Low Vis?
  19. That's knarly! Awaiting more pics
  20. Last time I went to WonderCon in SF a few years ago they had some Yamato stuff, but it was all 1/48 if I recall, and the prices were pretty high.
