Can't wait for your pics and maybe a nice short review??? (to tell us if they have improved anything on the original brown release?) I have not purchased a 19 yet because I am patiently waiting for someone to give me a good solid reason for dropping that amount of cash on one Valk. I do need one to go with the other 2 Mac Plus Valks though!!!!

In my giddiness to take it out and play with it, didn't notice the pilots are different!!! Had the one for the back in the front! DOH!!! Now they both fit and I am a totally happy camper!!!

I personally cant wait to get back into modeling, I have been out for some years now, but in my new place, I can dedicate an entire extra bedroom to modeling! I was doing it back before the days of the Internet! Three is SO much information out there now, it is going to very nice to have it all right at my fingertips!! I hope I still enjoy it as much as i used to. It was relaxing, (although sometimes frustrating)!! I'm gonna do a couple of practice builds first, before I try the 1:48 VF-1, now...where did I pack my airbrush??????

I'll just chime in here and say that every single time I have ordered from OD, they have had my package on my doorstep within 4 days. Every Valk has arrived perfect and well packed.

GOT my VE-1 today!!! Just have a few minutes to get it out of the box and attach all the parts before I have to go to work, and I must say I think this is one of, if not THE BEST Valk Yamato has put out to date. This thing is just super cool! TONS of Tampo printing on this thing! Even the markings on and around the main rear landing bay doors are tampo! LOVE it. Can't wait to decal, panel line and detail this bad boy over the weekend!!! p.s.-----anybody find an easy way to get the back seat guy in???

yeahh......I hear you...that shoulder/forearm thing is REALLY annoying..and kinda the only thing that keeps these from looking pretty darn good in fighter mode, which is how mine are gonna stay more than likely when I get my permanent dispay set up.....

YES!!! That---AND when you are buying a new house and the FIRST thing you think about when looking at floorplans is....."where is the "TOY" room gonna be and is it BIG enough"???, and you find yourself upgrading floor plans to INSURE it's BIG enough!!!

Well put. That's pretty much sums up how I feel about it as well. Love DYRL and Plus, Like SDF Macross, but did not discover all of those until like 5 years ago. Robotech is what I saw first, so it will always bring back childhood memories.
