ZERO interest in this. Good westerns are few and far between....Unforgiven, Tombstone, and 3:10 to Yuma are the best modern 3 I can think of.

I'm in for one!

I still have my old "Superbit" DVD of this movie and it looks really good upconverted on my Blu-Ray player. Can only imagine what the actual Blu-Ray looks like. This movie has always been great eye and ear candy!- 37 replies

OK guys, after a couple of days of research, just pulled the trigger on my 1st ever "new" digital camera off Amazon. Went with a Canon SD3500IS. 14 Megapixel, 5x zoom, 24mm wide angle lens, full 3.5" touchscreen and lots of features. Going to Alaska in a couple of weeks and needed something "good" and portable. Also looking forward to using it for better pics of my Macross stuff! Any comments or advice? It should be here by the weekend so I can start learning and practicing with it! I'm really excited about it! Vegas??? anybody wanna give me any pointers?? Coming off of my parents old Fujifilm Finepix S-5200. Old camera, but it served us well. Too bulky for the trip though.

I will honestly say, the decals were the most dissapointing part of the new set. The 1:48 came with a HUGE decal sheet for the GBP. I trimmed some of the clear parts off of some of them and it turned out great. The 1:60 ver came with an ok selection, I used almost all of them and I like it, they were good enough quality for me, but the 1:48 GBP set looked better decal wise in the end.....which may be for sale soon!

that's gonna be sweet! -
Yeah, just used Tamiya spray can "Orange Gloss"---However--be aware that the little bottle of liquid Tamiya "Orange" is NOT a match!!! I used Testors normal everyday "Orange" to match the Tamiya spray for touch ups.

Some new Additions, models and toys....old and new..... .....i hate my camera....sorry...buying a new one soon! -
I have the entire Robowreck 2 CD soundtrack on my IPOD in my car...don't listen to it very often, but once in a while, like while on a road trip, it can be nostalgic and fun...

THAT'S WHAT MISA SAID!!!!!

Iron Maiden's Aces High and the thought of me flying the YF-21 as I am flying down some highway at high speeds!!!

Agreed. My new VF-1J is super tight and solid. Reminds me of my VF-1A CF...it's that good. I may be biased of course, I've NEVER had a cracked shoulder 1:60 ver. 2. Or any other major problem for that matter.... I guess I'm just super lucky, but I am also very careful in the handling of my Yamato toys....

Jaw Dropping. Simply amazing. Just NOT 2GRAND amazing. Great job though Kurt!

Actually, the darker fan blade is Model Master "Steel"--one of my favorite colors ever, and the back fan is Tamiya Flat Aluminum. Can't tell from the pics, but I took some liberty and said hey, why not make em contrast a little, Maybe poor Rick--errrrr Hikaru had upgraded one but didn't have enough $$$ for both... The stand is a left over from a 1/100 VF-1S kit i never finished. Miria-----If you're referring to the stand red--It's just plain old Testors Gloss Red in a spray can--Cheap but effective!

OK Guys....sorry the pics kinda suck....I need a better camera, or to learn to use this one better, anyway, here is my FAN RACER....My first model in over 10 years....Built over about 3 days of Memorial Day Weekend. Chose Tamiya Spray paint cans instead of the airbrush for this one...turned out pretty good...that Hikaru pilot was a b*tch to paint right, but I am proud of how he came out. Still have a minor touch up here and there, but overall, I think it turned out pretty good! Really getting back into modeling! Ready to try something a little larger....LOL.... Ohh, and the stand is stolen from an old 1/100 VF-1S I never finished...so I thought "Hey, just paint that stand and use it!"
