  1. Have had my 11C for over 6 months now, just chillin in fighter mode in my display case, watching 7 last night, decided to transform it.....Hey-- good news---the leg or legs didn't fall off!!
  2. I have the Blue Alpha and Invid Inforcer bookends with all my anime dvd's in between them...I gotta say, they are awesome!!! The detail is amazing. If any of you Mospeada guys don't have a set, do yourself a favor and pick up a set. Well worth the $$$. Did you design those as well MJ??? If you did, great job!!!
  3. sorry Yamato....no deal here on the "repaint" front. I have the DYRL on order, and would buy a 100 percent accurate TV version also if it is reasonably priced (around the same as DYRL).
  4. WOW!! is this the coolest place (with the coolest and most talented guys) on the internet??? I THINK SO!!!!
  5. More like "are you watching Toynami?" for the Vinyl line perhaps??? But great work!!!!
  6. I'll be patient and wait to see the final product. Needless to say, I think it will look better than those pics. I have faith Yamato will do THIS right. Because right now---that bridge and lack of detail overall really looks like crap!
  7. YES! YES! What he said!!!
  8. I tried the pencil route--just wasn't big on the "shiny" effect it had. Just my .02
  9. I have used a Gundam type marker on my 1:48, YF-19 and Mospeada stuff, but for the 1:60 ver 2 stuff, Pro modelers weathering wash is the only way to go. It takes time and a bit of practice, but the results are greatness!!
  10. WHY am I now just finding this thread???? I'm a big car guy.....just picked up something incredible...will post pics when I get it home in a couple of weeks.
  11. I beg to differ. The SECOND batch Yamato released of VF-1J with GBP was and is safe and good to go. I have one. It's perfect.
  12. DUDE!!! PM me with the dirt!! I wanna know!!! LOL!
  13. caught up on both episodes now....show is getting more and more interesting. Loving Zoe with some badass "Kill Bill" skills! haha!
  14. I'm in line for the Glaug!!! Where do I pay?? LOL. Good work!! Keep em coming!!! Invid/Inbit?????
  15. nor does it cost $400+ dollars.... It simply is what it is. A cheap shelf warmer. But get a few together, throw some simple weathering/detailing on them and they don't look half bad next to Yammy 1:60 ver 2's.

    BUSTED!

LMAO!!!!! Ohh man....that made my day.
  17. OK-----Just started watching Macross 7 for the first time thanks to a guy on the forums here. It's not bad, actually getting a little better with each episode. I'm about 6 or so into it. Already tired of the songs, but hey, it's Macross, whatta gonna do??? LOL'ed a couple of times at Basara's lines. I really like his character and the question of his background so far. Liking the Max/Millia divorced/on the outs story line also. Mylene's annoying, but what 14 yr old girl isn't? And what's up with the drummer in the band? Never says a word. And it looks like a girl with breasts, but is it a guy??? LOL?? Anyway, back to the action!
  18. Double Nuts is awesome. It was my first and only YF-19 purchase and I love it. Nothing more to say really. No problems thus far. Had it almost a year I think.
  19. NO DOUBT!! Mad props to 505thAirborne's post without which I would have totally missed it! Ran in and hit record on the DVR with ONE minute to spare!
  20. As a life long SW fan, I'm gonna go with PASS on the 3-D stuff. I'm just not into it. I think it's a passing fad. Maybe I'm wrong.
  21. The new SDF-1 to be released by Yamato so I actually HAVE it for x-mas! (not Valentines Day ok Yamato?)
  22. what the hell do you like??? LOL!
  23. The SDF-1 OF COURSE!!!! TV or DYRL model...doesnt matter. The idea of a giant alien ship that humans get a hold of and put a city inside of AND it has devastating weaponry and aircraft carries attached to it is just epic. Ever since childhood I've wanted to be crusin the galaxy in the SDF-1! *edit*---I only have the old Matchbox version, but it is in good condition and on display with all my newer Yamato stuff, and I can STILL remember the day I first saw it at Toys R Us back in 85-86, and HAD to have it for x-mas that year! (And Santa HOOKED it UP! thanks mom and dad!!! ) 25 years later, I am anxiously awaiting the Yamato DYRL 1:3000 version this x-mas!
  24. awesome pics....I would KILL for that Garfish Alpha/Beta setup......and I can't wait to see some of your guys builds of the Glaug kit..
