    While TFCON is in my neighborhood, I dont attend because I am only interested in 3rd Party. Pictures is all I need. And the one that has me most enthused is trail-breaker

    I think DX-9 Aesthetics are garbage. LOL their blitzwing looks like a block. Floating Shoulder pads Come on. Tank mode that looks like Block of cheese with the head sticking out and the jet while not bad as a Mig 21 still looks like a brick with wings. Their Astrotrain with those wonky feet hollow forearms and a train with a visible cockpit. The shuttle is a stubby fat kid that thinks its a real shuttle. Toyworld is the real deal and as close as we have to a MP Astrotrain

    I have the FT Dinos, and Insecticons. For the most part they are awesome. And one of the few companies you can reach out to if you have an issue. IE with my scoria they sent replacement parts Try that Bandai's valks or Takara's MP line. Good Luck with that

    Well Thankfully 3rd Party to the rescue! Bandai's exclusivity BS sure doesnt it make it appetizing to get their stuff. Yes I know, for Japan only, but what happened to free trade deals and I'm sure Bandai is aware NY and HLJ sell to foreigners

    I am just thinking off the cuff but with all the glorious tech in this series, why dont they just make the jets that have better engines and have fold boosters built in? It just seems this all too becoming the norm to up the price of the valks and a nice add on like, would like a belt with those pants...... I find now that the booster packs takeaway the sleekness of these jets.

    lol good review. Should have got the hot toys version. But its seems Bandai tried to knockoff the features of the hot toys but in a bad way

    Yes I agree. When it comes to Transformers I have enjoyed the liberty in Stylized designs. And overall, I love what they are doing. So much choice and competition means continuous improvement in design and layout. But I do like we are getting "other companies" doing other franchises. I mean the Strike at 1/72 is great with the LEDs and now the Double 00 and Buster soon on their way. The price points just shows how much Bandai is milking us for their products. And the other bigger companies enjoy economies of scale. So if the smaller one can make a nice healthy (not OBSCENE) profit with lower price points that goes far in saying that the original stuff is way to overpriced.

    Sorry, let me rephrase. Make eh toys is not branching off into Macross. Yet. But I meant to say is other manufactures are penetrating the market that is on the whole owned by Takara, Bandai, hasbro. IE the thread I created on 3rd Party Gundams. MO SHO is now into the market of Gundams. I cant recall but a company that did Model upgrades for MG Gundam's is now making the Dinobot combinors -Shuraking. Its only a matter of time before it spreads to Macross Hip Hip Horray. I mean we already have another company building the VF-2SS

    Im tired of the whole world is going to end shows. Its always some shadow organization followed by the denouement of some conspiracy gone wrong and the hero saves the day. Boring and tiring. Shows like Hells on Wheels do not get enough credit. Better to bring back Serenity

    With the Chinese completely ignoring IP and Japan since ToyWorld and Mak "eh" toys are Japanese companies and now branching off to Gundam and Ninja Turtles I foresee that eventually Macross will also some day see IP infringement and toys. Its a bad thing but not bad for collectors because it gives 'Options' and isnt that what a free market is all about

    Just having some fun Personally I think TFC is the best because it is essentially a perfect combinor. The treads forming the arms is a great feature. Of course if you want the G1 Look you can go for the Add ons

    I think its 6months. I never got that message but I shipped my POL last week and it hit the 5 month mark. They are pretty good. Just send them an email and ask them to wait until your BackDraft Order gets fulfilled.
