Exo, did you do that pic? It's great! And, KiriK, that's an outstanding revision! Nicely done!

With HG being such a small entity, and as desperate for cash and recognition as they are, I find it extremely difficult to believe they got anything like the leverage people are contemplating. It would also explain why they've been so vague about LAM details.

Anyone here speak and read Japanese?

When I fed it into Google Translate, it came back with Kamiya Excavator. Looks like it's unanimous. -
What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v3.0

As opposed to a Giant Gold Mobile-Armor with 7 or 8 of them? Nah... Season 2 was good, and right up there with Season 1! -
so..I want to get into Gundam...where to start?
Robelwell202 replied to pondo's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I must disagree, sir. While it's not the most emotionally uplifting series in the Gundam megaverse, I still think it's damn good. Well worth the HD space, IMO -

This is going to sound cynical as all hell, but now that Macek's passed into the great beyond, Harmony Gold can claim anything they want about 'future projects' that happen to be 'Macek's idea'. With thier past practices, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v3.0

Keep going! My opinion might not reflect the majority, but I loved the 2nd season as much as the 1st. Some of the bst mecha eye-candy I've seen to date. -
I sincerely doubt that MacF's promotion was forgotten. More to the fact, people were actually GLAD to see these promotional pieces, because they knew there would actually be something substantial coming, as opposed to a never-ending stream of "We're working on it. I can't say anything about it, but we're working on it." -- K.McKeever,

To present my answer, it's neccessary to add the redundant information that I'm writing a fan-fic novel about Tomahawk Destroids. It's about halfway done. Now, on with the answer! At the beginning of the '09-'10 school year, I was finishing my training for being a school-bus driver. Now, this entailed sitting though two days of District-mandated procedure training called 'Inservice'. During last year's inservice, we had a guest speaker come in, giving a motivational seminar on student management ("You cannot strangle the little twerps, and this is why." sorta thing). WEll, as the story goes, I was 'volunteered' to take part in one of the on-stage exercizes, one designed to show the positive results of being a team player. WEll, before the exercise began, the guy interviewed us, asking us to reveal something that most folks might not know. I said that I was writing a sci-fi novel. The guy wouldn't let it drop there, though. he started asking me stuff like "How long have you been writing it? Why Sci-Fi?" etc. Well, when he asked me what my novel was about, I said 'The Destroid Tomahawk.' "What's that?" he asked. "A combat robot from the Anime series 'Super Dimension Fortress: Macross." The strange thing was, there was a few cheers from the crowd. Apparently, I wasn't the only Macross fan in the school-bus crew!

Hey, I'd buy one. I'd buy one, then battle-damage it up, just to have something for my Yamato Tomahawks to stand triumphantly over!

Oh, don't doubt the Mighty McKeever! It's going to follow in the footsteps of those pioneers like Ridley Scott, and Wolfgang Peterson. RT:TSC (The Director's Cut) will be released, with an added 3 seconds of footage (reports are that this footage is a shower scene, Scott Bernard's, if the reports are to be believed).

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v3.0

I quit watching it because certain things bothered me. First off, the girl being 'drawn and quartered', as it were. And then, at the end of the fourth ep, 'Daddy' having to administer the fatal 'shot'... It ust didn't sit too well with me. I guess I'm a wuss, but I'll stick with 'Big Robot' stuff. -

I just tried watching 'Elfen Lied', but after four eps, I hadda call it quits. The ironic thing is, the music for EL is rather good, so I'm somewhat torn. Anyone else seen this show? -
This is gonna be redundant as hell, but who cares, right? I still find it incredibly baffling that anyone could be so willingly gullible, enough even to buy HG's unending stream of lies, more lies, and just-plain-BULLSCHWAT! To even try to understand this gives me a headache. (Okay, I'm done now... resume)

Best Movie Badguy of all time?

Sane? Possibly. She did have her pick of Air Force generals (As indicated by her relay-conversation in Buck's bedroom), but she was only a minor part, at best. Now, that IS an oversight on my part, and thanks for the correction! You are joking, right? -

Like I said... "If there was a villain at all..." General Ripper was, in fact, the antagonist of the film. Antagonist = Bad Guy. -
I don't think so. The person said 'Old Movie', which probably means the 1961 version, or even the 1935 version. In either case, James Mason wasn't in either of these, so the question still stands... Who was the inspiration for Khyron's voice? James Mason was most memorable as Captain Nemo, in Disney's version of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. That might be what the person's talking about.

Now, that is just awesome!!! Outstanding job!

That's a fairly safe bet, since Lang was exposed to the wisdom of Zor (an exposure that made his eyes creepy, to boot). Creepy eyes and strange knowledge are deffinitely qualifications to answer this question.

I've been toiling over a similar issue for a while. I've gotten both Special Edition Weathering versions of the Destroid Tomahawk (Tan and OD-Green), and I've been wanting to get extra sheets of the water-slide decals for those, to use on my standard varsions. The sicker sheets just don't cut it. So far, it seems my only option os to scan the 'Weathering' sheets, then reprint them on laserjet decal paper. That is, unless someone knows were I can find extra sheets at...

Agreed. If there was a villain at all, it would've been Gen. J Ripper.
