  1. I'm still hoping for YF-19 and YF-21 battroids.
  2. Ah, thank you for doing this, Jannai!. I just got my kit in and I've been looking it over, planning what to do. One thing is I do plan to have it wheels up and mounted for in-flight. I am also NOT going to paint it in it's original color. It's just too purple for a combat jet, for me. I'll probably use various gray shades.
  3. It's because of the XB-70 that the USSR developed the Mig-25. It had the XB-70 in mind for the 25's primary role.
  4. This was the first Macross image I ever saw back in 84-85 in Starlog I think. Had no idea what I was looking at, but it had me hooked. Ditto. I Remember thinking, 'cool! an aircraft aircraft carrier!'. The caption had something about 'young pilots not fully understanding the vehicles they were piloting'. I think it was to promote the video tape sales of the Macross series. I think Robotech came out a year later.
  5. At first it was the Valkyries and the Destroids. I Also like the Zentraudi Mecha. After about a dozen epidodes or more I got into the characters and their development as the show progressed. By the end I was really hoping Rick/Hikuru would pick Lisa/Misa over Minmae
  6. Still would like to get some VF-1s and at a not too bad price? Check out the link below: Mugen Toys I pointed it to their model section. Scroll down to see 1/72 Macross. Right now they only have the VF-1s.
  7. Still a dead heat between the Tomahawk and the Monster. Apparently size (of the gun) does matter.
  8. Fine! but you better have voted, then
  9. If you like the design of the subject, you are not going to find a better kit for the proce. WM Cheng has done a great build posting here and it will give you a idea what to expect and it details what corrections he had to do. It build into a nice looking subject. I have the YF-21 and the VF-22. Here is WM Cheng's build: YF-21 build
  10. This must have been done before but I haven't seen it yet. I like the Tomohawk.
  11. I Agree! That looks great, CA!
  12. The 1/48 Imai Legioss fighters from the anime series 'Mospeada:Genesis Climber' were probably the best at transforming without giving up there proportions.
  13. Outstanding. The multiple tones of blue is what brings it home. That and the subtle weathering really gives the model a 'real' look to it in the images. I bet at a model show a few people would have to ask 'Is this of a real plane?'. I have to do that with my kit of this one and the VF-22. Please consider my suggestion from the PM I sent last week. Mike P.
