    I'd give that honor to Platoon. SPR was in many ways taking the storytelling of Platoon and applying it to WW2.

    I just read the Lisa is now First Officer of the SDF-1, she got a promotion. Who was the guy with that job in the original? Seen on screen all of about 2 minutes or so.

    End of the Circle was bad, and I generally liked those books since they filled in some holes in the animation, and even the Masters segment in the books was readable. Oh wait, I might be remembering how much I hated a different book - the one where the Invid were made to fight like video game characters by whatever the baddy was called, THAT gave me an image of Space Invaders, which is good if it is Fry from Futurama but not so good for Lisa, Rick, and company.

    That reallllly depends on which continuity you go by, RT had a whole bunch of them and is some she is the mother of Zor? Or something...

    Is it just me or is the picture of Arnold in the background deserving of the caption "The Road Terminator"?

    I don't think the art is bad at all, I just don't like the redone character styles. As for Minmei - it was RT's constant attempts to keep the character relevant while getting rid of the music plot that did her in.

    No, Varys has always worked toward stability of the realm and putting John up as the true king would not work out unless Danny allows it. Besides - those two ARE getting married anyway.

    Doesn't matter, plot wise John's true parentage has been dangled around since (I think) the very first episode. The revelation of it IS going to be an important part of the finale in one way or another.

    I have a feeling that Littlefinger is going to meet his end while talking with someone he thinks he knows well, he does not yet know that Arya can do that face trick...

    It looks even more dreadful than the clip we saw earlier.

    The profusion of digital cameras makes even that explanation seem stretched, any pose you want you could simply get someone to go out and do the the pose for you and trace the picture.

    Yup! They want NEW garbage now.

    I used to own those as well and a large number of those comics would have to be redrawn anyway - near the end of the run they had a very good artist but had one issue done by a "guest" artist which looked like something *I* could draw. Up till then all the art was substandard at best.

    I no longer care HOW they get the images on the screen, only that I believe them when I am watching them. On Dunkirk they all looked great so I give them credit for that. A

    Besides the character designs I also noticed that the bridge crew footwear will probably end up killing them, or is at least meant for a different line of work...

    Good thing they had name captions under each character, I would not have been able to tell otherwise. Well, at least Lisa doesn't look like a male body builder like in her last Robotech comics appearance.

    The Klingons started out as one-dimensional as well, and if their makeup had been as complex as the Gorn they would have only been in one episode (and thus no Day of the Dove for them) too.

    Suits are notoriously risk averse. Anthology shows in general have not done well for a long time and Star Trek has never been done as well. Serialized shows are all the rage now so that was considered a good bet. I'm not faulting them for this either, putting a Star Trek series together is an expensive proposition.

    If anyone wants to see this at the theater you better go quickly. $17M is astoundingly bad. On the plus side the BluRay version will be out next week at this rate.

    Trailer looked decent enough I have to admit, but I'm still not signing up for another streaming service just to see it.

    Is that a trick of the camera? The coloring just looks wrong. The one at the top is awesome however.
