Ready Player One, in theaters March 30, 2018

As long as it is not Matrix 2 or 3... If I were living in the Matrix and someone took me out I would slap them upside the head and demand to be put back. This world the physical needs while in "The Matrix" are not looked after from what I can tell.- 98 replies

Seems to be making the same mistake as other dystopian films. The "bad guys" are not going to try and take away the latest "opium of the people" but would instead find ways of using it to exploit. Then again it is hard to say, maybe they are fighting to get people to take off the VR stuff and go see what a hell hole the world is turning into.- 98 replies

Just because images, or entire pages, of something are posted online does not mean rights have been granted to reproduce them elsewhere online. And what they did to Breetai, they deserve to burn in hades.

And the networks have companies buy ads to, it is a split between them on ad time. Syfy also has a large number of ads for their own shows on their channel too. I guess they need to fill in the ad time since the show was meant to run with a number of minutes of advertising and perhaps they could not find any buyers.

Ads - not really all that different from paying for cable and still watching ads. Not saying I like either system(*) mind you. (*) Cable or this all access nonsense.

I would not put all of that on Nixon's head, probably not even most of it. The big recession hit in the seventies, we HAD beat the Russians to the moon and so practically nobody cared any longer, and the seeds of the Government can't do anything right paradigm were really starting to kick in then. Back to the present, every time I hear a president (either party) make grandiose claims about space exploration I cringe or laugh since it NEVER coincides with any funding. -
Terrible. They took what was revolutionary about the first one and turned it into the garbage of the sequels.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, in theaters May 25, 2018

On offset cockpit will be out of the way for loading and unloading of Cargo. Either that or WAY above the loading line. This ignores that fact that as a cargo carrying design the Falcon (old, new, mandibles, no mandibles) is just not all that great. -

Aren't you a little short to play Chewbacca? Sorry, couldn't resist. Looks good to me, the voice of Solo is off but we see so little of the actors it is hard to say if that is a problem or not. -
Nothing in that trailer really screams "Watch me!" but overall it looks like it will be an entertaining romp.

Hard to imagine that didn't have security around the set 24/7 but... -
If only that were true - there are at least a few on the RT boards proper saying they love it.

It seems I had the wrong question. He has a model of her ship painted one color but when he looked online it was the red and blue color of My Youth In Arcadia. The question is if that particular model came in multiple color shcemes. Attaching the relevant bit of the original question to see if that helps find an answer. I need some help. Recently a good friend of mine gave me some items to do with as I wish. One item was Queen Emeraldas battleship.leiji matsumoto collection no 1 in resin so I wanted to know more about this item. So I checked eBay and found one for sale and it was identical to the one I have except for one thing, the overall color of mine is a silver color but the one on eBay is painted Red,Blue and some other colors. So I have to ask were there 2 versions of this ship? ALSO (me paraphrasing again). The model was released in 1999

Thanks!

A fellow on a miniatures forum is asking about the color scheme from Queen Emeraldas' ship. One of the options he saw online was a Silver color. I don't remember seeing it that color before but I'm not a huge Harlock fan so may well have missed it. Can someone give me a link to post on that other site for the fellow to follow up on?

I seriously doubt that Ron Howard would have taken on a project with an "unworkable" script. This sounds like someone trying to drum up drama for attention. Not saying the movie is good or bad, have to wait to see it for that but RH hasn't made a stinker yet. (Uh oh, looking through his films it seems he directed that Jim Carrey Grinch movie...) -
> the characterization of The Old Man as a bad guy He was the quintessential business guy - money is all that mattered. Which to me makes him a bad guy but not an evil guy. That is what was missing from his character in the second movie (the third movie was so bad I can't remember much of it and what I do remember I wish I did not).

That would be GKar. Londo started out as a bafoon, turned into a douchebag, and finally a hero. In the Beginning was the best of the B5 movies even though it was just a clip show to allow people who had not seen B5 to catch up on events. Legend of the Rangers was that series pilot trial balloon on SyFy, only character from the original show on it was GKar I believe. It featured a weapons targeting system that would give the operator a heart attack in 20 minutes (really, someone ought to do a motion study for ANY device in a scifi show before they put the thing on screen). It also featured special effects that made syfy's Airwolf episodes look decent.
