  1. I can't tell is this is as bad as I thought it would be (and that was pretty darn bad) or WORSE.
  2. Plus - you can't do Game of Thrones in a movie since it takes time to percolate that only a series can give. The Old Republic does appear to allow a more Game of Thrones like vibe to it however.
  3. Doesn't really matter unless you have a 7 day hotel reservation - it is still impossible to get a Slinky Dog Dash Fastpass without those. Same for the Seven Dwarves Mine Train and it has been open for years now.
  4. Hell has frozen over (both by Bill and Ted 3 filming and me finding this thread to post it in). https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/bill-ted-3-face-the-music-announcement-keanu-reeves-alex-winter
  5. I guess it is not so bad an idea s the Star Trek meets Transformers comics. Really though - can't they keep ANY comic book characters in separate universes?
  6. Just watched it, well some of it, on demand and both my wife and I were bored through the part we did see. When we turned it off it still had 93 minutes left and it felt like it had been running forever up till that point. I guess I'm getting too old to enjoy endless (CGI) fight scenes with a little cornball dialog thrown in.
  7. Not just the day. I've been trying to get a Fast Pass for Slinky Dog Dash and Seven Dwarves mine train for a year now (well, since Slinky opened) and have not managed it even with a 5 day stay at a Disney hotel once. Trying again in January.
  8. Watched this, well most of it, on Netflix today. Such a disappointment. It was all I could do not to fall asleep. Voice wide Pooh and Tigger were spot on (since the normal guy was doing the voices that makes sense) but Owl, Rabbit, and Piglet just didn't fit. Eyore was just as I remember too (though I did not check to see if it was the same Voice as before). The characters just didn't look how I would have expected either.
  9. Says the millions standing outside the entrance to the land...
  10. I don't keep track, has Pallidium done a Kickstarter before? There is a wide gulf between promising something and not delivering if you did not take someones money and doing the same AFTER taking someones money.
  11. Palladium's kickstarter promised a LOT and delivered very little. I don't know what it has to do with the games listed here since the only relationship between the companies is both are licensees of Harmony Gold.
  12. Blue Thunder was actually a French copter and not an Apache. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Thunder_(helicopter)
  13. On that Photoshop sin picture - at least a couple of the Zentraidi ships that are farther away have been pasted in front of the closer ship. Even I wouldn't have made that bad a mistake.
  14. OK, I'm in. I'm surprised the trailer has no english dubbing or subtitling though. Maybe just my machine?
  15. At this point shouldn't the title of this thread be reversed? Though I'm darn pleased winter is LEAVING in most other respects I'm glad to see it hanging on in TV land.
  16. Is it confirmed that Season 3 is just those short clips and not full episodes (I get all my Discovery news here so if it was released elsewhere I don't know about it yet). If that is true and agree with Seto that it would not be a good sign for the show going forward.
  17. There is a great bit from Benny Hill where Benny is playing a director of a low budget film that a film critic is gushing over and every time the critic brings up something "extraordinary" from the film Benny would say that it was really something having to do with the cheapness of the film production. I like to stick with Benny's realistic side of the story. Or as Opus the Penguin's theory of life "Your born, you go on some diets, you die". I'm a Doctor Who fan, I gave up caring about continuity problems decades ago. > If we were looking only at Discovery and TOS, maybe... And Next Generation where Spock is a major part of the Romulan whatever the heck was going on.
  18. I'll stick with lazy writing. It would not even of had much difference in dialog the first time Sarek is on screen. Instead of Kirk being surprised that Spock's father is Sarek he could just as easily be surprised that Sarek and Spock have a strained relationship and that is something that would not be in the personnel file. Not to mention that Spock's brother is an outcast nut, by Vulcan standards, and his adoptive sister is a murderess, warmongering traitor (by all of Starfleet though that could change before TOS takes place) In a way the Spock clan is like the Skywalker family in Star Wars - everything has to revolve around one of their family in one way or another.
  19. > Come on now, you know that is not the reason it was not initially mentioned in the show...
  20. If only the older Hellboy could have had the budget this one appears to have, and an R rating.
  21. They would put in BOLD letters to let his next captain know what kind of political hot potato he could be getting. That and his family being high enough up that lady high mucky muck was at his Pon Far ritual...
  22. I've got a yearly pass and go when it is "not" busy - still plenty busy. The week before you WILL have people there just to see if there is a soft opening. Two weeks before is safer but this being Star Wars even that may not be far enough out.
  23. To poke holes in TOS. How the HECK would Kirk not know that Sarek is Spock's father? Every captain in every fleet ever finds out EVERYTHING in the files about his first officer and Spock's dad being an Ambassador would be front and center.
  24. My favorite Mickey guy has an episode of his show on GE. I might just be nerdy enough to make my own lightsaber.
