    The best thing about the Leijiverse is that it is one giant mess. There is no right or wrong place to start and no cannon version of a character. It is kind of like Bugs Bunny cartoons (*), Bugs and pals stay the same even though they are in totally different backgrounds half the time. (*) - I don't use this example in a bad way, it is just the best I can come up with.

    Actually, it is better to remember just how much Lucas knew about their parents. Which at this point was not enough.

    For those of us wanting Yamato models without a lot of funds to spend, some (all?) of the old inexpensive Yamato kits are available again.     If he did it would not make any difference, the movie was done filming months before release. The only reason the "I am your father" line was kept under wraps was that the line was dubber in later - only Hamill, James Earl Jones, Lucas, and maybe a select few others knew what was really said.

    Redesigns - we don't even know what timeframe the movie will take place. If I had to guess it would be 30 years or so after the original trilogy, and other then the Falcon just about every other ship should updated by then anyway. Of course replacing all those old Star Destroyers is probably still under way...

    I plan to watch it if it looks decent. If I had to bet though it would still be on it never getting done.

    The guns are on both sides like that? It's even worse then the other one. At least all the guns on that one could fire at targets in most directions.

    Saw my first post on another site (miniatures page, about miniature wargaming) calling it a "Macross" movie, I set them straight. I'm looking forward to the movie, even though the designs will not be Macross related (don't think they can get away with that) - I like the boxy Mospeada deisgns myself (not as much as the Macross designs, but I still like them) > Wing Commander the motion picture bad That was a decent movie, not great, but decent.

    I have to agree with Keith, that thing is is just ugly.

    Actually, after seeing "The Hobbit" between Christmas and New Years and liking almost all the trailers for new movies, perhaps not. Star Trek (OK a sequal of a reboot...), the WIll Smith movie, the Tom Cruise movie (are they in the same movie? Different parts of the planet perhaps?), and a couple of others that look promising - perhaps it will be a good year. (those were jokes up there, interesting to see two films so close together in theme though)

    If the Hulk could get a second chance then anything can... Things are just getting worse and worse, "The Mummy" already? Last one was just a few years ago, let the "franchise" rest in peace a little while longer...

    Still looking for info but found this neato page about her. http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/312-ijn-musashi/ A couple of sites mention it being found but all of them strictly in a discussion board, so my guess is that it has not been found yet.

    No - but I DID see Star Wars Episode 1, it can't possibly get worse.

    Not quite remembering when they "found" the rest of the old RD crew I like those episodes, but not as much as the ones before that. Back to Earth was great and I'm looking forward to the new episodes in the US.

    Just remembered, the "bad guy" fighters in Macross 0 are my all time favorites.

    More GITS is always welcome. Hopefully the new crew does it justice.

    In the original show the WWII Yamato was fixed up and made into a spaceship. So the ruins on the surface was supposed to be the Yamato we see throughout the show.

    That SDF-1 color scheme is all wrong and the Valk is out of scale... I wonder how many legos are in that and how long it took to make?

    Does the transforming Monster in Frontier count? Nearly dropped a load when I saw that one. If not then Roy's fighter wins.
