And you would have been fired that instant too. It was a photo shoot for a TV show featuring an actress who most likely NEVER held a gun other then on set (and most likely the one she is holding is a prop and not a real one with a firing pin, etc...). If you feel the need to slap someone it would be the weapons master on the set and not the actress (once again, only if that was a real gun weather loaded or not, rather then a very realistic prop)

I wouldn't know the reference, I've not watched any of the Resident Evil movies or played the games.

That one trailer was in English, is a US release planned for this film in theaters? Anyone know when if that is true? Or the DVD release date.- 182 replies

OK, 10 minutes of things going boom followed by 1.5 to 2 hours of a couple people floating around in space? Pass.

It won't even have blanks, someone off stage would have made sure of that. Ever since that guy shot himself with blanks and died I am sure they only give out guns loaded with them when needed for a shot.

Not really, computer models could show an infinite amount of detail - rendering it would take forever, but it could be done. The same exact constraints exist for both physical and 3D models, time and money.

Aliens: Colonial Marines morphs into Isolation
Dynaman replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
to paraphrase "A video pre-purchaser and his money is soon parted". On the one hand suing for this is insane, on the other hand the degree to which software companies (all kinds of software) gets away with shipping feces by claiming the software is not suitable for any purpose is disgusting. We do need to find a better line between normal glitches and liability for releasing buggy garbage.- 216 replies

Yes, many movies have the endings reshot, the original Rocky comes to mind. What gets reshot, or left on the cutting room floor, is of no consequence - only what ends up on the screen counts. I will wait to see reviews first however.

My opinion is that people made WAY WAY too much of the first movie, it was a great action popcorn flick and it got lucky in striking a chord with audiences. The second two tried to add more meta-physical mumbo jumbo on top the VERY thin veneer the first one had - and since the series really didn't have anything profound to say the whole thing fell in upon itself. That, plus the first move really left nothing to be follow up on.

Sounds spot on if you ask me...

I admire Del Toro's work but this would be a really hard one to pull off. HBO is also the perfect choice as well, not sure regular network TV would be able to do it justice.

Star Trek Into Darkness, in theaters May 17, 2013

The one spoiler I read was too insane to be believed. Sounds more like an internet hoax. (an internet hoax, impossible! It's not like there were any haters already out there wanting to jinx the movie before it even opens!)- 1020 replies

Sketchley, don't forget "UN Spacey", no English speaker would ever come up with that one.

As for Full Frontal, although is sounds terrible - I ask you, is it really worse then "Pussy Galore"? (and look where the Bond franchise has gone from there)

When we say the 98 Zilla movie we are talking about that US abomination right? (Just making sure there was no Japanese movie the same year) I NEVER considered that a real Godzilla movie - and I even liked the Godzilla 85 movie with the flying Norelco razor ship. (I think that was Gojira 1984 in Japan)

> There's also neat missions that make you travel in time to the 23rd century and interact with the crew of the original enterprise which was always fun. STOP! You will get me to try the game again! (Maybe I just need to read a book during the long voyage bits...)

Thanks guys, found the thing. Sadly I then figured out the game is just not for me, far too much sitting around watching the ship travel from system to system. I'll most likely play it off and on a couple times a week.

I love the 3 story shorts episode they list, and the wedding of Leela and Fry sounds awesome. It needs to end with the words "It's not really dead as long as we remember it". (and then come back as a Netflix show)

I just started reading the first book, do the books and the show differ significantly later on? Having already seen the show I don't want to read the book if there is not a significant difference, the writing is great but I only have so much time ina day - and there are lots of books I have not read yet.

Hey guys, help out a total loser nube at the game. I've got anomolous sensor data, some lady says to basically put it in the slot south of here. South of there is just a transporter pad. What do I do with the stuff? Any sites for a newbie to go and learn? (the online help was lacking at best) edit - especially with the "Go here, talk to X" missions. Is there a map that shows how to get to X most of the time (I get it if searching is required but finding a guy at Star Fleet Command should not require knowing what level he is on and then going there to hit the level map) (be kind, I admit to being ignorant...)
