    No, it is a very good idea. Most people do not lack for entertainment choices - they lack the resources (usually money) to make use of all the choices available. As an example, I will NOT see another Transformers movie again, I've wasted enough time and money on the first one (and that was only a Netflix rental) when there are other options out there.

    Pompeii was dreadful, well at least the first 20 minutes was - I can't say anything about after that...

    What clue is there that what Miilia said was a question while what Max said was a statement. In English we put the interrogative spin on the pronounciation - I could not hear any difference between the way Max said it and the way Miilia did? Is there something we need to listen for?

    That is strange, I saw it in Japanese audio with English subtitles. Just double checked, English subs are showing up still. What Netflix app are you using?

    I liked it too. It was not a great movie but it certainly does not belong anywhere near this thread.

    How much water did it take? Realistically we are covered in water every single minute of our lives. Were they in a desert? Here in NJ they would spontaneously combust on contact with the atmosphere...

    So very sad. Even in bad movies (Popeye) he was an incredible talent. Then he went and did serious roles and was awesome in those too (the one where he played a killer up in Alaska - remake of a foreign film), and THEN he was humble enough and smart enough to play the straight man when it served the movie best (The Birdcage).

    Blastr reports that JMS is writing a reboot movie for Babylon 5. I'm taking that news with a large grain of salt. He does not even had a studio backing it yet and unlike Lucas he does not have the money to make it on his own. I would be interested in seeing it but a single movie just would not cut it for a B5 remake.

    It was going to be DVDs and Blu Rays as well. The movie had no direct impact on the Shadow Rising - if that were the case then Love Live Alive would not be able to have been released either.

    I don't have a problem with the name. Sounds like a computer company name, if my guess is correct that company would be the replacement for Skynet.

    > I gotta wonder, are people genuinely still disliking this movie even after all the incredible trailers and TV spots, or is it because people still see the word Bay so hate, hate, hate? I hate it BECAUSE of those spots. Looking at them clearly shows they are using what I call "Vomit cam". I can't stand that quick shot, frenetic, camera "work" during action scenes.

    I was watching the show and the episode I saw last night was a stinker (enough of a stinker that I'm not watching it any longer). Captain AND First Officer go miles inland looking for monkeys for testing, don't appear to take any marines along and then end up beating the feces out of a bunch of bad guys. Between that and the episode where they just took someones word that they were a friendly ship without even lifting a finger to double check I've had enough.

    I'll have to watch it again (it is worth another viewing!). I remember what you are speaking of but the character didn't look anything like Tochiro. I get Yatteran and Tochiro mixed up all the time, though not exactly similar in appearance they are similar in ways that I don't catch at first - and they have much the same role in the show, first officerish... Forgot to mention, I prefer the MYIA version of Arcadia but this one is still good.

    Saw it last night, quick opinion. It is not My Youth in Arcadia but it is not Harlock Saga either... I gave it 3 stars on Netflix (a middle rating meaning liked for those who do not have Netflix). The computer animation was well done and the characters were not too over the top (it is Harlock, they have to be partially out there...). Mimay had a mouth, I'm still wondering why they felt that was needed. I'm wondering about Tochiro as well, was he only in MYIA? I get confused with the guy that looks just like him.
