  1. Yeah, Sixties Batman is not a guilty pleasure. It was purposely cheesy done right! As a kid I did not like Egghead but now I love those egg lines. The real question is who is your favorite Catwoman from the show?
  2. I have not cared what any one person thought about movies since Siskel and Ebert (either of those I care, even when I did not agree with them I liked the reasons they gave for their opinion). This latest group of "edgy" reviews, no thanks.
  3. > X Wings are flying tanks? Hardly. If we can continue the World War II analogy, the X Wings are like F6F Hellcats Compared to Japanese planes the best description for an F6F would be "Tank" As for the changes, they all look fine to me.
  4. As much as I thought that movie looked like crap (and it does, I could feel my IQ going lower while the trailer for it was playing) I am disturbed that it was canceled due to terrorism or extortion (choose whichever description you think most appropriate)
  5. The sole purpose it was made was a trap to lure the rebels there to be destroyed, it was completed in time for that so it was "Done". > In a vacuum, range is the difference between launch point and the closest thing along the launch vector. Only problem is that space is not a vacuum in the Star War universe, not sure what it is exactly but it is not a vacuum (or sound would not carry...)
  6. "I feel stretched Gandalf, like too little plot spread over too much running time" That said I plan on watching this at the Imax theater nearby.
  7. No, but I did not care about them anyway (did not even know they existed, I'm just after the show)
  8. Just saw this last night, much better than I expected (I watched the English dub). I didn't find any fault with any of the English VA cast and I was actually impressed with the VA for Two Horns. Only two problems I had were the chest "armor" and the bit about the power problem, either it was badly translated or it was a plot point that was dropped somewhere along the line. (I would have put a spoiler tag around that but there is really nothing to spoil...)
  9. I bought mine on ebay. $100 for all four, just couldn't pass up on that.
  10. At least disks 6 and 7 if the SB disks are not released soon (and I am not expecting that they will be) That would leave me missing episodes 17 and 18.
  11. The real problem with that reveal was that nobody WANTED to have the force explained.
  12. Only problem with Final Countdown was the ending - it had that "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" vibe... Well don movie, loved it.
  13. I just received my Star Blazers 2199 disks 1 to 4. Other than the title being Star Blazers rather than Yamato everything else is the same. A pity they did not release the last two disks.
  14. Boy was I confused. $250 for all seven seasons of TNG is pretty good, too bad it includes the first 2.5 seasons though. Anyway, really looking forward to the upcoming Comet Empire movie and hope it leads to a second season of the show.
  15. Lovely ship but I don't have $250 for a single model. I'm happy to have picked up Star Blazers 2199 volumes 1-4 on Blu Ray for $100. Now all I need is disc 6 and 7 of Yamato 2199 to finish it up (except for 2 episodes, have to get disc 5 for that).
  16. My guess is that SPECTRE is an offshoot of quantum. Great title, love it. I hope it brings back more gadgets along with it. Sure it can be overdone but I miss them.
  17. If you work on that show and your characters name is not Rick or Daryl or you don't carry a katana then you really shouldn't expect to stick around.
  18. Put me in the excellent episode camp, all the way to the end.
