  1. I really have no problem with a westernized remake of a Japanese movie getting remade. (just writing it out is twisted). This one went downhill so quickly after the first that it is second only to the Highlander franchise in time to insensibility too.
  2. I'm liking this project more and more. Anything that will undo the Alien3 disaster is good with me.
  3. Strangely enough the thing I'll miss the most is his voice work for the Spock doll in The Big Bang Theory. Now Spock and Mccoy CAN talk about the afterlife.
  4. These came out too late for me and too soon for my kids but I still remember them being quality programming. (all the Duck shows and the Rescue Rangers)
  5. Sneakers, baseball bat. It is really like the old outrun a bear joke, you only have to run faster than the other guy...
  6. That is if I were on the show. I do not, have not, and have no plans of owning one.
  7. I like the new episodes. If anyone told me I had to give up my guns - my answer to that would involve a lot of four letter words...
  8. There is a chance but I wouldn't count on it.
  9. And the people making the film should not care if all 10 of us are angry.
  10. Yup, this reminds me of the line from Gettysburg about the latest commanding general of the army of the Potomac "its hard to keep track of them as they go by" Maybe this time they actually will make a movie but the track record is nothing to bank on.
  11. I think it is too late for that. The third movie did in any remaining goodwill left over from the first one.
  12. After that opening weekend perhaps it should be called "Jupiter Descending" I watched that Sinbad movie instead, at least it cost a quarter of what two IMAX tickets would cost. Netflix rental coming up.
  13. > This list loses points for not including Clarence Boddicker and The Kurgan. Not listing the top two? I'd say it invalidates the whole thing...
  14. Found another film to go in this Category. Being a low budget movie I would normally cut it some slack but for two sins. 1 - They SOMEHOW finagled Patrick Stewart into narrating it... 2 - They were trying to do a tribute to Ray Harryhausen with the stop motion creatures but they did it so terribly badly. That just about sums up Sinbad, the Fifth Voyage http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1403862/
  15. Translating into English via google came up with this line. "This work has been developed to manufacture under the Warner Bros. from 2007, again and again planning is in extinction" I got a good chuckle out of that one.
  16. I liked it. For 5 bucks you got a great bargain. Now I have to go check out my local BB...
  17. This was the one of the worst and best movies I have ever seen. Plot wise it is a terrible mess, but it has some of the most interesting characterizations (and well acted ones!) on film. The Diva scene is worth watching the entire movie all by itself.
  18. If the reviews say it is pretty but vapid I'll wait for it on Netflix.
  19. The Matrix really wasn't anything great as a movie. It did have a cool look and aspired to something more than it was but if you really look at it you see there is nothing behind it. Not quite as bad as the Jedi code in Star Wars perhaps but pretty darn close. Pity on this film if it really is as bad as they say, it has awesome visuals and I would have seen it in Imax.
  20. YUP! They are burning holes (small ones) in my pockets!
