Too bad really, it just doesn't have that "gotta see it" vibe for me.

Craig has been Bond for 9 years now, only one to do it longer (without a break) was Roger Moore and the consensus is that he stayed in the role for too long. Granted, Sean Connery came back for Never Say Never Again, but that really was a mistake too.

Silly me, I was looking for a human sized handprint, and there it was staring at me all the time (actually took me about a minute to spot it...)

No need to look up the other thread, you are 100% correct.

AKIRA LIVE ACTION MOVIE = Life Support?
Dynaman replied to Macross007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Too bad, the bike looks decent! (it is one of those anime items that is hard to replicate in real life). The obvious photoshopping doesn't even bother me. -
Just saw a documentary no Disney World. Some of the large Animatronic Dinos they have go to 10,000+ psi. Regular characters too if I remember correctly, said they needed that to get them to look more natural.

OK, next thing you know you will get me admitting I liked "The Bionic Watermelon" bit from the Captain and Tennille show next.

Not really guilty enough, granted that it has not really aged well. Now if you said you liked Bigfoot from The Six Million Dollar man you would have something. Or the Venus probe perhaps (Yup, I like both!)

Sorry, I kept seeing "movie" when you wrote "move"... Agreed, what Tomorrowland has to do with Tron 3 is head scratching at best.

OK, I can agree to disagree. TRON 2 or Tomorrowland? TRON 2 was a good film, not great, but good. Not seen Tomorrowland so can't comment.

Since Billion Dollar franchises have not been around a while there are no examples to show the opposite. But we will not be seeing Star Trek The Next Generation films. Many Westerns. Many War movies. Super Heroes are going to suffer the same fate at some point.

No need to limit that to "Disney", any studio that does not try to maximize profit will not be a studio for very long. Star Wars and Marvel they are eventually going to end up with a monumental flop and those movies will come to a crashing halt as well.

I can't believe I watched the entire first movie. Skipped the second when people said it was worse, and skipped the third when people said it was as good as the first (like that was some kind of positive mind you). Plenty of other options out there - mostly on TV

How much did Shia have to pay to be allowed back? I find it hard to believe they would pay him anywhere near what he got for the last one he was in - they KNOW it can make money without him.

I meant showing here in the US. Hopefully Netflix licensed the second season along with the first - they do not always do so. Looking forward to it, weird an all.
