    Being a D&D gamer (The Fantasy Trip in particular) I could not watch the movie no matter what. The very idea of it was disgusting. Luckily the whole bunch of "carp" died out when people found out the hysteria was a bunch of "feces".

    The ads keep getting better. Hopefully a good sign. Even better is it comes out when I'll be visiting back home with a really great Imax theater nearby.

    Well, just watched it. It was OK, nothing great. I don't think it will be enough to get the show back on.

    Since it supposedly released yesterday it makes sense to advertise. I'll have to give it a look tonight.

    And Matchbox is the "realistic" of the two car lines. Hot Wheels at least had those outlandish cars that would have been distinctive.

    I forgot to add - the original cast probably asked for more money too.

    Deleted - Matchbox instead of Hot Wheels. Boring...

    The voices of at least the boys have changed and unless the actors are trained for it (and still have the vocal range to pull it off) using the actors from the films would sound off.

    Highlander 2 was a TERRIBLE movie on it's own merits and an even worse sequel. Even Robocop didn't fall so far so quickly. I'll be giving this one a look (theater or streaming yet to be decided, reviews will determine which) but even the first movie ended up a far better film then the sum of many of the parts. The opening alone was cringe worthy.

    If the WRITERS would overthink things it would be better. WE can think all we want but it won't change anything till the writers do.

    I said you were overthinking it, not that the thoughts are wrong. A major difference. You both put more thought into it then the writers.

    I had a philosophy professor who told us to try to prove to him a door was not alive, it was an interesting lesson on when to leave a conversation topic alone...
