You,ve either gotta deal with Yamato,s engineering or low wage factory workers in china.Both these factors play into any V2. 1/60 QC issues. Alot of people will post on this thread to stay away from a certain release ,shoulders,pins etc and they,d be right from their perspective by the valk they,ve bought. Yamato,s good for the most part ,but it,s always a 50/50,Yamato,s engineering can come undone once it enters the factory(e.g. assembled tooo tight etc) regardless of the advice you recieve ,you,ll just have to take a chance.

Yamato,s (for the most part) good engineering,can,t handle transformation of an overly tight/put together valk coming out of the factory. For lack of better word the "deformed" tab/peg involving the air intake with the VF-1D has opened this seam line,once eventually out(with no real skills) I now have to cut and sand this tab!! I know how to transform this correctly,incorrect transformation OR excessive force DOES NOT apply to this tab situation recently!the VF-1D,s shoulder was also cracked out of box,in what I guess would be from it being too tight to transform in the first place.(will post shoulder pics in other thread)

Yeah love the mold colors, I wish yamato would do Hikaru VF-1J in light grey,valks look better in grey.

I,ve never had a problem with toy-wave.com either,great packaging and mint boxes from my experience,s. They also have some great prices on 1/48,s at the moment aswell!! Waiting for my VF-1D from hlj.com,s sale !!! I,ve been waiting for a H.I. VF-1J in a light shade of gray(NOT a LV color) since the 1/60 V.2 came out!!! Do you guys think it,s gonna happen??

I could be wrong(and I often am),but by looking at the wave 1/100,s elbow joint it looks like it,ll have less articulation than the 1/60,but more leg articulation than 1/60 and 1/48. Plus it,s the closest to a battroid yet.(Sorry for going off topic).

if you can,t find any there,s always the wave 1/100 battroid vf-1s(and the upcoming vf-1j)snap fit model kits,that IMO look better ,and have great poseablity ,alot of panel lining.

I,m more excited about the wave 1/100 vf-1j,soon too be released,now that,s what a battroid should look like,the gnu looks pretty close though!!

I,ll eat that as a main,now give us some Gatchaman as desert!!!!

Got my VF-11C today, *stiff back wheels(it,s easier to take the rubber wheels off ,then flip the wheels out) *like others, taking the cockpit out to pull the bottom heat shield up to click, *like others before me-renato -rabidweezil -macross fanboy -nightmareB4macross In my case both legs fall off pretty easy,but as suggested I,ll look into some "blue painters" tape to fix. Other than that I like!!love Battroid mode.waiting to see what Yamato will do with this line.
