Those kits are very easy to build and paint. Almost no masking needed. The quality is very good. Almost SOC quality. Posabilty wise, the rubber thing(forgot what's called) make it a little hard to pose on the elbow joint. And then there comes to painting it. But don't paint, the paint won't stick. What you can do is you can use a permanent marker and paper towel. Paint/write on it and the wipe it with the paper towel leaving some ink on the creaves(spell?), kind of reverse dry brushing. I might build one again applying some of the techniques I saw on a magazine. And oh by the way, I have an unopened and opened/used Patlamp that I'm willing to sell/trade. Hopes this helps, d

I read Alclad doesn't work over acrylic. If you touch even after a week of drying it'll rub off. Try using enamel. thanks, d
