  1. 3 pints of cider drunk in quick succession, should I attempt my first transformation of the VF-4G? Graham
  2. For static display, you can just sit a Fold Booster on the VF-17 I did that before when the VF-17S was released. Pretty sure I posted some pics as well. Of course if you want to pick it up and woosh it around, it's gonna move around or fall off.........hahah. Graham
  3. Just received my VF-4G at the office, together with my second VF-17D w/Super Parts (Yay, my Diamond Force is now complete!). Only had time to take a quick peek at the VF-4G in the box, but gotta say it looks very plain. Then again, I've never been a huge VF-4 fan. Graham
  4. I've imported CDs, DVDs and books many times from Amazon.co.jp. As far as I know, the only things they won't ship internnationally are toys and games. Same with bloody Amazon.com and Amazon UK as well Graham
  5. My VF-17D is tighter than my VF-17S. Graham
  6. Emerald Force. Graham
  7. Curious, which is heavier the VF-17S/D or the VF-4G, as both toys use a lot of die-cast. Can somebody who has both weigh them? Graham
  8. Damn, just consulted the lineart and realised I put the UN Spacy Kites on the wrong location on the FAST packs. Gotta redo them now. Graham
  9. Not too bothered about the tight shoulder, as I prefer fighter mode for the VF-19P. Transformed to battroid mode once, but think fighter mode looks the best for this. Love the lok of the leg fins and canards and overall advanced look of the VF-19S/F/P series, compared to the lumpy and less streamlined YF-19/VF-19A. My perfect 19 toy would be an all grey low-vis VF-19P with a VF-19F head I'd also kill for a low vis or white VF-19F. Graham
  10. Soon. Waiting for second VF-17D to arrive from HLJ. Graham
  11. Had the same thing happen with my VF-19P. The left shoulder was so tight to unlock in fighter mode that the shoulder armour popped off. Graham
  12. 1) VF-17D. My all time favorite VF. 2) VF-19S/F (can't choose between them). So sleek and sexy. I always imagine myself flying through the clear blue sky in one of these. 3) Hikaru's VF-1S Strike Valk from DYRL, the Valk that made me fall in love with Macross. Honourable runners up: 4) VF-11B/C 5) Alto's VF-25F 6) VF-171 CF 7) VF-0S Graham
  13. Missed it also Finally got into the colour scheme. Oh well, there's still 3 or so physical shops with stock of the first release here in HK at Ins-Point Center, but all selling for HK$2,680 (US$345) Not sure I wanna pay that much. Graham
  14. Just snagged 1 at CD Japan, but limited to one per customer. I think they still have some. Go go go! Graham
  15. 100% not Yamato's fault, as it's the anime colour, but I do wish the head lasers were painted grey or white on the VF-19P. Still, an easy mod. Graham
  16. And a few more pics, just because the VF-17 doesn't seem to be getting much love here . Graham
  17. VF-19P and friends. Graham
  18. My bundled VF-17D and also one more Super Pack set arrived from Ami Ami Yesterday. The VF-17D head definitely looks better in person than in photos. Stripes are very pale blue. Unfortunately, the cockpit was so tight, I broke the hinge opening it :(/> . Luckily I was able to glue it back, but dunno how long it will last. Anyway, beautiful toy. If I can scrape together the funds, I'm gonna buy one more. I know many may disagree, but I've always thought Macross 7 has the nicest looking VFs. Graham
  19. Mine arrived from Ami Ami yesterday. Beautiful. No QC issues. Graham
  20. I love the colour scheme on this. Graham
  21. This thread needs more pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Graham
  22. Yeah, it's great that Yamato were able to incorporate that feature. Graham
  23. Shelf of Alto. Graham
