I quite enjoy Fringe, but as it shows quite later here (around 11pm) and I watch it on my bedroom TV, I usually fall asleep half way through each episode, so I haven't been able to watch a full episode in ages........hahaha! Not the show's fault, it really is quite good, rather my bed is too comfortable. Unfortunately, no working DVR at the moment and I can't be assed to download it. Graham

To book collectors, need help tracking down Macross 7 stuff
Graham replied to Mr March's topic in Movies and TV Series
I have all or nearly all the Macross 7 art books. Will try to look through in the next few days. Going out now. Graham -
Haha, that's you is it. I didn't know. If I'd known, Id have placed more orders through you. Anyway, very happy to see the missiles are painted this time around. Graham

No, obviously prototypes for the Hunter Killers from the Terminator franchise. Graham

I think it's time for V2 1/60 YF-21 and V2 1/60 VF-22S
Graham replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Toys
I just keep my VF-22 and YF-21 permanently in fighter mode, (a) because it's my favorite mode, (b), it's a beautiful looking plane, ©, cus transformation is a pain in the ass (d), cus battroid mode does look kinda sucky. Graham Can say there are no plans from Yamato for a renewal version of the YF-21/VF-22 at the moment. Graham -

Dropped them, had them fall off shelves, thrown them at walls, hit them with a rolling pin (well, that was my son actually when he was 3), but I've never sat on them. Graham

I had a dream last night that my VF-171EX arrived at the same time as the Yamato VF-17D. It was sweet unboxing them together. Graham

Still no news about shipment of my VF-25F super parts. I guess a lot of companies may ship them out late because of the Golden Week holiday. Never a huge fan of the VF-25G, so not going to play the preorder game. If I see one in a shop for a reasonable price (ha ha ha), I may pick one up. If not, no big loss. Graham

Would like the next project to be a Gundam Sentinel OVA. Never liked the silly looking (IMO) pirate styled Gundams in Crossbone. Graham

Anybody received any payment request or shipping notification for the Super Parts yet? Haha, it's been so long since I pre-ordered, I forgot which company I ordered from. Gotta dig through my email. Graham

I have many fond memories of flying in and out of Kai Tak. First time was in 76, when I was just a wee lad. Graham

Hot Toys Metal Gear - Naked Snake and Boss
Graham replied to macrossnake's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
And is The Boss' male or female? Kinda difficult to tell from the figure. It's either an effeminate looking guy with really well developed pecs, or a really butch looking woman.....not sure. Don't shoot me, I only ever played 1 MSG game on the Playstation 1 years and years ago, so know very little about MSG. Graham -
Hot Toys Metal Gear - Naked Snake and Boss
Graham replied to macrossnake's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Why is he called 'Naked Snake', when he's very obviously wearing clothes? Graham -
I've said it before and I'll say it again, no remakes, no live action adaptations either. Let's see some new Macross anime please. Graham

Right, so let's just sell it in one place only, spend zero on advertising and then be surprised when it doesn't sell well........duh! Obviously, high IQs, or any knowledge or experience in marketing is not a requirement for working at Deagostini. Of course the bright spark who decided to make it mostly reprint material only a couple of years after the last run finished is also to blame. While it may have worked for Eva and Gunam, Macross is not those shows. Graham

They should print all the planned new material in one book. I'd buy it for sure, and I bet 90% of people who collected Macross Chronicles would by it as well. This whole let's just print and sell a small quantity in Hiroshima to test the market, seems to be really badly thought out idea. And yes, even though it is the 30th anniversary, it is still too damn soon to reprint all the old material again! Graham

Pet peeve with modern movies, why are drones shown flying way faster than they actual can? Just sat through the start of the Keanu Reeves remake movie, 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' and they had Predator or Reaper style drones flying at supersonic speed and then firing Sidewinders at a ground target.......LOL. Not the first movie I've seen that has drones flying way faster than they actually do. Graham

It's supposed to be 20 of them. What a find! Graham

So do any characters in the movie actually say "You sank my Battleship"? If not, it aint even worth a rental. Graham
