I've still got no additional information about whether Arcadia will continue with 1/60 scale transforming Macross toys. But my gut feeling is that it's game over. Graham

Yeah, Hobby Link Japan are notorious for their slow processing ;( , which is why I seldom use them. For me they are always the option of last resort. If I request EMS or FedEx shipping, that's like generally a clue that I want something ASAP!, not wait around 10 days for two weeks before they get off their asses and ship my order out.......Grrrrr! Just went on a buying spree and bought another VF-17S, a VF-1A Cavaliers and another VF-1S Focker TV 30th anni. Will feel sad if these are the last Yamatos I ever buy. Graham

I'm the same, don't understand how most people have time for long stretches on consoles. By the time I'm home from work, had dinner, got the kid to bed, it's usually about 9pm and I'm just so tired I wanna crash.....haha. To be honest I haven't even got past the first tutorial mission on Macross 30 yet, despite having it for 2 weeks already. I decided to play the Frontier 2nd movie hybrid game instead (never can remember the Frontier movie titles.......LOL they're just 1st and 2nd movie to me). I can sit and play the hybrid game in 10 or 20 minute bursts. The only time I have time and energy for long gaming sessions is on the commute to and from work, which is why most of my gaming is mobile. Can't lug a PS3 on the bus or train LOL. Graham

Just got this together with the DYRL hybrid, now that I've finally got a PS3. Loving the YF-29 in this. I never really liked it in the movie, as you don't actually see it that much, but in the game I love watching it, it just looks so awesome and kicks as as well. Decided to play the hybrids before working my way to playing Macross 30. Graham

Haha, despite probably having hundreds of hours on the PSP games, I guess I'm starting to go senile. Anyway, loving the game, but not that impressed with the movie quality. Anything black colour looks really grainy. I'll stick with watching my DVD versions I think. Graham

So after the first play through, can you then play as other characters, such as Gamlin, Isamu, Basara, Hikaru, Max, Milia, Shin etc? Graham

The Bandai 30th Anniversary YF-29 color scheme should be in the game. You would think that would be a no brainer. Hopefully it will be available as DLC. Graham

So now that several people have played through the game, is there an optional beam weapon pod to replace the missile launcher pod on the YF-30? Graham

Ditto, from what I'm hearing toy collectors and fans outside of MW are also worried by the lack of news and updates from Arcadia. I also agree that in any sort of business transition like this, no news is generally a bad sign. Although ownership for the molds for the toys could easily be transfered from Yamato to Arcadia, the licences from Big West to produce and sell the toys is likely another matter. This would probably involve Arcadia having to negotiate fresh licences with Big West. Graham

Ditto, I think I want an Isamu custom YF-29 toy more than a YF-30 toy. I do think after the VF-171 cannon fodder and YF-30, I'll probably be out of the VF toy collecting business, unless Arcadia does start making Macross toys. I've had enough of Bandai's shenanigans. Graham

t would be fantastic.Before actually trying to get into the game, I'm waiting for someone to translate the control layout for control schemes A B & C. Honestly just based on the opening movie and first tutorial mission I'm not really blown away. Guess I'm getting too old and jaded. Graham

I'd say that 80% of my VF toys are displayed in fighter mode as it's my favorite mode. 18% are in battroid mode and the remaining 2% are in Gerwalk mode. I'm primarily a fighter mode guy. Graham

Great, I'd really love a translation of the basic game menus, I'm getting far too old, grumpy, lack of patience, lack of time to sit and figure everything out through trial and error like I did in my younger days..........hahaha. Graham

Just got the game and played about 20 mins last night. Some v simple idiot questions: 1) In the first tutorial mission in the VF-0D, where you are Battroid mode only, what are you supposed to do to the three VB-6? I couldn't destroy them, they didn't seem to take any damage. Are they non-destructable targets just for you to practice lock on and firing? 2) To skip the talking heads, it shows on screen to either press Circle or R1. What difference between pushing the two buttons? Graham

So have they cut season 5 short at only 20 episodes instead of the usual 22 episodes? I saw episode 20 was announced as the season finale? There's definitely been fewer and fewer Clone Wars figures released by Hasbro for season 4 and 5. I recently picked up the Phase II armour Captain Rex, Commander Fox and Commander Wolff for my son. Disappointing that the knees are not articulated though. Graham -

PS3 and a couple of games just purchased for the son and I. Macross 30 standard edition on the way. Now just need to figure out how to set up one of these new fangled consoles, especially with regards to online. Connecting a console online is a completely foreign idea to an old timer like me. Graham
