Yeah, I'm really not into Kickstarters also. If this eventually get's a release I may buy it. But as it's now on D+ I've less desire to pay to get the Blu Ray disk. I mean yeah, who knows how long Macross will be on D+. But anyway, I still have my old MII DVDs as a back up,

I read his scenes were filmed before his death, as this movie has been in production for a long time. But I may be wrong.

Really looking forward to Ballerina after seeing the trailer. I love the John Wick franchise. I watch JW4 in the cinema 4 times.😅

Not quite up to where Emerald Force show up, yet. 😅 Given that we already have the HMR Fire Valkyrie, I think it's a given that Bandai will give us at least a VF-19S as a P-Bandai release. But yeah, the VF-19F/S are high up on my list of favourite VF designs, especially the VF-19F. Love that blue with white trim scheme.

Binge re-watching Macross 7 On Disney+ since yesterday has made me want HMR VF-17D/S, VF-11C Super and Fz-109 toys even more.

I have a theory that at the request of Big West, Disney Plus is punishing the US by delaying the release of the various Macross animes in the US on D+. 😅 After all, the US is country that spawned Harmony Gold, so has created the most trouble for the Macross franchise

The hobby shop near my office has had stock of this since last week. But as much as I like the VF-31J Super, I've no plans to buy, the reissue as I still have 2 of the original VF-31J release and super parts. Now, If Bandai had released an Arad or Chuck VF-31AX that would be another story, I'd be all over those. Or even Arad & Chuck Super Parts for the original VF-31 releases.

Don't think I'd watch this i the theatre, but may give it a watch on D+. -
I'm actually kinda digging the look of the Battroid mode as an alternate universe take on the VF-1 design. The VF-1S Battroid and GBP Armor VF-1J look pretty damn good in my opinion. But yeah, fighter mode really sucks. I think I'd be up for getting 1 each of these and just keeping them in Battroid mode.

Yeah, same. It's the box and the display stand that are different IIRC, but yeah still can't justify when I already have the first release.

Currently re-watching Frontier on Disney+ and it just blows my mind that it's already 16 years ago since Frontier was first released. Where does the time go? To me it feels like like just a few years since Frontier came out.

Looks interesting, but annoying that there is still a gap for dust ingress between the two clear panels. Something that IKEA never seams to be able to solve on their various display cabinets.

Gotta say I'm loving the HMR VF-19. It's such an awesome little toy. Originally planned to buy 2, but just bought a third.😅 I'm really hoping we do get more Macross 7 HMR toys. Given how good the HMR Fire Valkyrie is, I'd really like to see Bandai make an HMR YF-19, as I'm not a huge fan of their DX effort.

Recent DX releases have all been matt, so I would kinda expect this to be matt as well. Personally it doesn't bother me. I'm quite happy with how it looks in the photos. But that's just me.

I'm gonna get one of these to keep in fighter mode. Would have preferred a Ba, or Mirage movie version Ba.

I've gotta say, out of the 3 recent Bandai Macross toy releases: the DX YF-21, DX VT-1 and HMR VF-19Kai, the HMR VF-19Kai is definitely my favorite of the 3. It's just such a fun toy and looks great in all 3 modes, transforms easily and has no potential broken parts issues out of the box, unlike the other two toys. And it's a great replacement for my old Yamato VF-19Kai toys that suffered broken elbow joints (I never got the Arcadia releases). Being a huge Macross 7 fan, I'm really hoping for a full range of Macross 7 HMR toys from Bandai.

I still want a DX VF-31AX Arad & Chuck to finish the team.
