Of course. That was one of the high points of the episode.

Haha, after watching the movie, I immediatly went to the nearby Toys R Us with my son to look for any Pacific Rim toys as he wanted Gypse Danger and a Kaiju, but there was nothing in TRU. So I went online on my phone and ordered wave one of the 7" Neca figures Gypse Danger a Kaiju and the 3 armed Chinese one (forgot the name just now). Graham

One can never have too many VF-1S. Although at that price, maybe Arcadia should change the name to VF-1$ Graham

Robotech x Voltron crossover... what the...I don't even...
Graham replied to Tochiro's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So let's see, in recent years Macross fans get the excellent Frontier series and movies and Macross 30 PS3 game, not to mention all the 30th anniversary events and products and Robowreck fans get err......this.....LOL. I'm actually scared to watch that video above. Graham -
Don't sweat it. The VF-25 renewals are one of the easiest Valk toys to transform Graham

The Hong Kong skyline scenes were pretty authentic, but I agree the street scenes were not at all accurate. For some reason Hollywood has this idea that modern day Hong Kong streets resemble a stylised 1930s Shanghai, but with lots of neon And don't get me started on how Macau was portrayed in Skyfall ;( Graham

In the specs for both the YF-29 and Tornado Pack, it mentions the turret can only be turned at subsonic speed. At supersonic, it has to be locked in the forward firing position. Graham
-
So far there have been no official specs for the YF-30. So we don't know in what ways (if any) is the two engined YF-30 with its unaerodynamic box missile launcher superior to the 4 engined YF-29 with its beam turret, multiple inbuilt micro-missile launchers and swiveling engine pods. Graham

Saw it today with wife and son. We all really enjoyed it. Great summer movie with excellent set designs. Son now wants a Gypsy Danger toy, I want Striker Eureka. Wondering why when the Kaiju used its EMP weapon why the power on Hong Kong Island wasn't affected also. Graham

I like the YF-29 because it's the current state-of-the art VF in the Macross universe and the design has really grown on me. And I like both the 30th anniversary version and the Isamu. The 30th because it's kind of a Roy Focker color scheme and looks good and the Isamu version because it's freaking Isamu Dyson colors and he flies it (and its playable) in the recent Macross 30 PS3 game. If hi speed mode compromises other aspects of the transformation, if prefer swappable hi speed wing parts. Graham

Got my payment request from NY today for the 25F. Graham

Maybe swapable wings. One set standard wings and one set in high speed mode. No need for any complicated folding mechanism and no need to put slots in the leg of the toy. Graham
-
Bandai made such a huge improvement on the renewal version. Now if only they could solve the problem of the self loosening hips and shoulders and add hard points on the wings, it would be the perfect VF toy. (Oh, and produce enough so that scalpers don't drive up the price) Graham

I think the color scheme looks much better in fighter mode. Graham

I posted the screen shot of the quest description in my post above. It's a hunters guild quest that's available at Urthr when you are on main mission 7-2. The prize is the YF-19 II blue prints. As mentioned, no circle on the map to show where to go and I've triple checked the item is not in my inventory. Basically I want to know whether the quest description screen shot I posted gives a location name? I spent an hour trying to match up location names on the map with the characters in the description, but no luck. Graham

Thankfully, no problems so far (touch wood) with my two VF-171 CF. But I doubt I will transform them again, they'll stay 1 in fighter mode and 1 in battroid mode. Graham

Acadia definitely needs a separate site or page for their Macross stuff. Their current home page is definitely NSFW. I don't even dare open it at home when the wife and son are around. Heck, I won't even open it on my phone's browser when there's other people nearby. Graham

I've always thought that would be an easy custom build, just use a watermelon Graham

Can anybody help me with this Hunter's Guild quest from Urthr (Madis Glacier). See attached pic of quest description. I've no idea where to go to find the stolen vase. I've tried following Dio's advice, to look for the cave name in the quest description, but I just can't find any Kanji or Katakana that look like any location on the map. I've double checked and the item is not already in my inventory. And there is no green circle on the map showing where to go. I'm stumped and it doesn't help that I've just come back from vacation, so haven't played for 2 weeks, so I'm a bit rusty. Graham
