  1. Not being a Transformers fan, I have no idea what that means. The Valks are gonna turn into Gorillas? Graham
  2. Not a fan of the commander type head. One Commander type DX and possibly two standard types (one for fighter mode and one for battroid mode) will be enough for me. Graham
  3. I loved this kit, bought so many of them back in 94-95

    Bandai DX VF-31

Guys, second warning. Please post about the 262 in the dedicated 262 thread, not the 31 thread.
  5. Couldn't see whether the VF-171 has a gunpod or not.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Guys, keep the Sv-262 discussion in the Sv-262 thread please.
  7. Yay, finally got to watch episode 3 this morning. Been traveling oversseas on business since the weekend, so no time until now.
  8. Haha, no plans to repaint or fill in seams. I'm the world's worst model painter. All that stuff is way too technical for me and at a level of skill I could never obtain. I'm buying these specifically beacuse they are already painted, so I don't have to. Just gonna slap em together, use a few drops of super glue to make sure they stay together and use them as hand-held zoom arounds until the DX toys come out. Graham
  9. So super glue for these?
  10. Confused......So does this mean that the Gerwalk kit is not a complete kit even though it's the most expensive? And does it mean you have to buy an extra Fighter mode and Battroid mode kits just to complete the Gerwalk? If that's the case I'll probably cancel my Gerwalk order and just stick with the Fighter and Battroid kits.
  11. I would imagine by now given the amount of times that a VF has had to rescue standard size humans the operating system has been programmed to recognise when the VF is holding a human in its manipulator and adapt accordingly.
  12. Pre-order placed.
  13. Forgot I'd actually ordered these, just received a payment request from HLJ. Oh well, they are cheap enough that even though they look really shitty, might as well keep them to tide me over until the TomyTecs and Bandai DXs come out. Graham
  14. These are just looking better and better
  15. Or even if one can't read the English word "Sticker"
  16. So are these up for pre-order anywhere yet?
  17. Oh dear. Think I'm gonna pass and wait for the Tomy Tech instead.
  18. Yeah, those are the micro-missile launch ports on the legs.
  19. Just I find it interesting that the anime shows them exiting from fold, with no sign of a mother ship. Yes, I guess they could have either launched from a mother ship just prior to coming out of fold or be traveling outside the mother ship, using it's fold bubble/tunnel etc (whatever the term is these days). It would be cool though if fold drives have been miniaturized enough to fit inside the Sv-262s. Which leads to the next questions, if they have, then what is the recharge time between folds and maximum fold distance? Graham

    Bandai DX VF-31

I still prefer the VF-31F as to me it's the best compromise between low-vis and having some colour, but without being too flashy. And it's got the Grim Reaper on it........Mwahahaha. Graham
  21. I don't think this has been mentioned before, but the Sv-262 may be the first ever VF to feature an internal fold drive. We see the Sv-262's fold in, but there appears to be no externally mounted Fold Booster. Neither do we see them jettison a Fold Booster. Graham
