    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm still hoping that the left side of the charger pod is an offensive gunpod and not actually part of the charger system.

    Bandai DX VF-31

The boomerang drones are stored in the back of the Valk's lower legs, not in the charger pod

    Bandai DX VF-31

Completely agree, it's gorgeous. Graham Hope somebody can translate all that text ASAP.
  4. Hey, it's winter now!

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'll definitely buy one each of 01, 02 and 03. 02 = best overall colour scheme + cool marking on the back, plus awesome kick ass combat pilot, only downside is the head design is not that great, but I'll keep it in fighter mode anyway, so who cares. 01 = cool marking on the back + best looking head, but so-so color scheme, cool pilot. 03 = Radome.......yay!
  6. I'm with WM Cheng on this, Bandai VF-19 Advance all the way. The Arcadia really looks too unfinished in terms of lack of Tampo printing and lack of molded in detail and panel lines. I also totally agree the Arcadia's nose is too droopy. Too me, the Bandai just looks so much better and accurate to the line art, especially the side view fighter mode. Plus the Arcadia has too many annoying problems that don't make it a fun toy, such as the loose ankles and loose high speed mode wing hinge.
  7. Hmm..........I'm gonna wait to see if these are snap-fix and molded in the correct colors before ordering. I'm crap at painting and model building in general, so if these require paint and glue, I'm out. But at this price point, my expectations are not high.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I've never needed to use the brace on my 30

    Bandai DX VF-31

Pass on big Walkure figures for me, not into idol figures at all. But if Bandai released each VF-31 with an in-scale standing mini-figure of the pilot and the associated Walkure singer, I'd be up for that.
  10. I have to be really bored or there's absolutely nothing else on TV to watch this show. I did try honestly, but they lost me at how they portrayed Deathlok in season 1. Graham
  11. I've never had a problem with HLJ's packing, but then again, I'm not a person that cares about pristine, mint condition toy boxes, so I've never really paid much attention to HLJ's packing. I typically discard toy boxes, so I don't really care if they the toy box is received with minor scratches, scuffs, dents, tears etc as long as they are not too serious and the toy inside is fine. My main dislike with HLJ is how painfully slow they are to actually get your order out of the door once your order is in stock and paid for. I'm an impatient person, so that when something I want is available, I want it yesterday, Hence I'll generally pay for the fastest shipping method (finances allowing). If you pay for EMS/UPS/FedEx/DHL etc, rather than SAL, this should be a hint to the seller that you want to receive the goods ASAP. This is typically what we call "a clue". However, even after receiving payment HLJ typically takes their own sweet time to get the order out of the door. With most companies the'll typically ship within 1 - 2 days of receiving your payment (if goods are in stock). With HLJ they seem to take much longer to actually get the goods packed and out of the door.
  12. As long as the Evolution Sylvie VF-2SS locks together tightly in at least one mode I'll be happy (first preference fighter mode, second preference battroid mode). To be honest, I don't have terribly high expectations for this toy, despite the high price point. I'm not a Gerwalk lover, so don't care about that mode and rarely display my toys in Gerwalk (although I understand it's in-universe usefulness from a tactical/practical standpoint). However, if the toy is a froppy mess in all modes, then I'll be cancelling my pre-order for the SAP version. I really hope the SAP version can lock together tightly in fighter mode, as that's how I'll display/play it. Graham

    Hi-Metal R

Still waiting for the news on the Hi-Metal VF-2SS with SAP. Honestly, I'm just so burnt out on anything that's SDFM TV or DYRL related.
  14. For me, it was the actress that played Kyoko that was incredibly hot.

Don't know why so many of you are panicking about landing gear. All we've seen so far are likely early stage, non-transforming, non-articulated sculpts, rushed out on a 3D printer or maybe hand sculpted. I'm certain the finished toys will have functioning landing gear. This is just so much of a non-issue in my opinion, it's not even worth worrying about. Graham

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm sure they will have landing gear. All we have seen so far, is obviously just an early version unfinished sculpt.
  17. Yeah, but those pics could just be with the stickers applied.
  18. Only way I'm buying this re-issue is if it has the following changes: 1) Get rid of the high speed mode. 2) Tighten or redesign the ankle joints. 3) Add the gunpod vents. 4) Add some more Tampo printed markings (doesn't have to be as many as Bandai, but at least more than now.
  19. Still yet to see the first one..........LOL!
  20. I'm basically only collecting the 6" Hasbro Black Series First Order figures from TFA, although I got Poe as well, as he was in the two-pack with the riot control Stormtrooper. I really love the First Order Stormtrooper armour design. So far, for TFA 6" figures I've got: 2 x Hasbro 6" Comicon First Order Stormtroopers. 1 x Hasbro 6" Captain Phasma. 1 x Hasbro 6" Kylo Ren. 1 x Hasbro 6" First Order Snowtrooper officer (red pauldron). 1 x Hasbro 6" Finn in First Order Stormtrooper armor with removable blood stained helmet. 1 x Hasbro 6" First Order Flametrooper. 1 x Hasbro 6" First Order Stormtrooper Officer w/red pauldron (part of the 4 pack that also included phase 1 & 2 armor Clonetroopers and an Imperial Stormtrooper). 1 x Hasbro 6" First order Riot Stormtrooper w shield and tonfa (2 pack with Poe Dameron). 1 x Bandai 6" First Order Stormtrooper model kit (perfect size match with the Hasbro 6" Black series figures). Well, I also bought the Disney die-cast Resistance X-wings (Poe and Standard) and First Order Tie Fighters (Standard and Special Forces), until a better alternative comes along.............waiting for some actual pics of the upcoming Hot Wheels Elite series First Order TIEs and Resistance X-wings. I'm also sorely tempted by the upcoming Hot Toys/Sideshow 1/6 scale First Order Stormtrooper figures. Graham
  21. Don't forget Lemmy as well! R.I.P. Hans Gruber.
  22. I made a decision not to collect any of the 3.75 inch TFA figures due to their 5 point articulation. I'm sticking to the Black Series 6 inch TFA figures only. Still, that is a nice pack and I think the only way at the moment to get the heavy trooper or whatever they call him (the one with the chest rig and big gun). Hope they release that as a 6".

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm really interested in how the radome folds up on Delta 3.
