With the lack of significant mecha action in Delta recently and the difficulty of securing a VF-31J on pre-order, I'm kinda staring to get a bit disillusioned. I miss the Macross Frontier renewal toy days, when we could at least rely on Nippon Yasan for securing a pre-order, even if it was at slightly inflated prices.
  3. I never get the whole we must show blockbusters only in the summer or at Christmas thing. I'll go to see a movie or take my kid to see a movie anytime of the year if it's a good movie that I want to see. Graham
  4. Damn! As expected, but still damn! I so want a nice VF-2SS with SAP, but this is really NOT the droid I'm looking for. Ah well, maybe one day, bandai or Arcadia will step up to the plate. Glad I decided not to buy the SAP. Graham
  5. Just curious, why are you writing "Val" rather than the generally accepted "Var" or official BD/DVD translation "Vär"?
  6. I wanna see Arad kick more ass, like he did way back in episode 0.89/01 against the Var'd Zentradi.

Kinda surprised and a bit worrying that Nippon-Yasan hasn't started the round two offers yet at slightly inflated prices.

Damn, sightseeing in Foshan China when the pre-order opens. Won't be back to the hotel and Wi-Fi access until several hours after it opens.

I really like what I'm seeing too.
  10. Having the front guns mounted so low down on the front of that tank is pretty silly, no way to elevate or depress them and looks like very limited side to side movement as well. So you'd basically have to move the whole tank to aim them. And why are the mounted so low, are they for shooting people in the ankles? Oh well, at least it has additional guns mounted on the side it what look like rotating turrets.

From the video, the poseable hand is definitely stored inside the wing. During the transformation at 01:07 on the video you can see the person doing the transformation moving the fingers on the hand after the hand has been deployed from the wing. Also, where to you get the idea that you have to swap parts to deploy the landing gear? At 00:43, we can see the rear landing gear wheels being rotated what looks like 180 degrees on the strut before the kneecap is closed and the landing gear stowed.

It's no use to blame Bandai for the rear landing gear. Kawamori's the one who designed them to fold into the knee caps.

Yay, can see a waist swivel on the video This toy is gonna be epic.
  15. Yeah, but now Delta are a pilot down, how does it work.
  16. Neutral vote, no mecha action again. At least we got to see a whole bunch of SV-262s parked.
  17. Damn, just received the DVD. I could have sworn I ordered the blu-ray. Need to check my order.
  18. Hopefully it will lack the auto-destruct gimmick of the Yamato version.
