  1. Heh, I don't think I've read any Marvel titles for 22 years ! Graham
  2. OK, I've just renamed this topic to more accurately reflect the thread contents. As the new title implies, please keep discussions on Bandai Gundam plastic model kits to this thread. Graham
  3. I don't think we want to go that route, but you can easily create your own Gundam thread to discuss whatever specific area of the Gundam franchise interests you, e.g. start an 'official Gundam Zeta' thread or 'UC Gundam' thread or 'sissy, skirt wearing Zeong' thread if you want to discuss those specific topics. We alread have an an official 'Gundam Sentinel' thread, for discussing all things Sentinel related. Anyway, back to discussing Destiny. Graham
  4. Here's the direct link. It's not in this thread. It's in another thread on page 2 of the toy forums. Graham
  5. While the AnimEigo Macross DVDs may now be out of print, it's not really accurate to call them unavailable, as they are still pretty easy to buy online from a variety of places. Graham
  6. Ouch! Graham
  7. That's more information than I really wanted to know, thank you Graham
  8. Given that the title is 'Macross & Orguss Design Works', I think it's a pretty safe bet that it covers Orguss as well Graham
  9. I have pruned the non-Destiny replies and amended the thread title. Graham
  10. Yep, lets keep this thread about Destiny anime/toys/models only please. No discussing that skirt wearing sissy Zeong! Graham
  11. Actaully, wasn't the team of 5 heros in Gatchaman called 'Science Ninja Squad' Graham
  12. I don't know if I would call him great since he endangered his squadmates with that recklessness. But he did take out 6 or 7 enemy Powered Armor all by himself in under one minute IIRC using only a gunpod and bayonet, no missiles. That makes him a pretty good combat pilot in my book. Graham
  13. IMO looks more like Jabba's barge. Graham
  14. It definitely seems like Destiny is going for a more of an ensemble cast approach, rather than focasing on a single main character. I think I kind of like this. I do wish Lunamaria Hawke would get more screen time though. Graham
  15. Hmm.....although I like the Zakus in Destiny, I do not like that new Gauf, but then again, it could just be Okawara's art that makes it look bad. It will probably look much better in the anime. Mind you I have never really liked Gaufs, except for the Gauf Custom in 08MST. I for one hope that we do not get Doms or Gelgoogs in Destiny. I've never liked them. Graham
  16. Because only the expensive Japan only release is out so far. The cheaper international release for the US market and the rest of the world doesn't come out until March I think. IIRC there is about a US$60 price difference between the two. However, it's not known at this time whether the international release will differ in any way, i.e. packaging, quality, features or material. Graham
  17. Err....because I wasn't really sure whether to post it in the anime or toys forum. I mean it's a book, so it's not an anime, but then again neither is it a toy!?????? . So I thought, post it first in the Macross anime section so people who mostly visit that section will see the news and then move it to the Macross toy forum as I guess (in my mind at least) a book is closer to a toy than an anime . Graham
  18. Eh, I don't see anything in the item descripion that mentions Wookies? Graham
  19. I quite enjoyed AvP Extinction on the PS2, but yes it is limited and has little replay value once you have completed the campaigns for the 3 species. Graham
  20. Well, the chronology section of the Macross Compendium shows Isamu's last assignment before being assigned to Eden as follows: - October 22 2039 Isamu Alva Dyson assigned to Outer Space Special Science Force. Graham
  21. Finally, an update from the Macross Compendium, that shows the Miyatake Design works book is coming in March Kazutaka Miyatake Macross & Orguss Design Works 宮武一貴 マクロス&オーガス デザインワークス Design art collection A4 size ISBN: 4896016297 Movic 2005 March, end of (scheduled) Y3000 Y3150 (tax included Oh well, 4 years late is better than not at all! Graham
  22. Actually, I enjoyed RE2 as we got to see Milla Jovovich's nipples near the end of the movie . Graham
  23. I haven't watched the second disc yet, so I'm not sure what the extras are and I can't check until I go home. Probably the usual poo though....making of feature, deleated scenes etc. Actually, I never really care for extras. I just went to amazon to check what the extra are and I'm suprised the DVD is not being relesed in the US until Jan 25 and in the UK until March 2005! The official 2 disc DVD was released here in HK a week ago already. Graham
  24. OK, so I'm very late to the party, but I finally got around to watching AvP on DVD over the weekend. And wadda you know, I actually enjoyed it. I certainly liked it a lot more than Alien 3 & 4. A bit more gore would have been nice and the far-too-quick Alien gestation period bugged me a bit, but overall, it was a good fun popcorn flick and certainly a lot more enjoyable than many of last summers action movie releases. Graham
  25. I'm hoping they do make a GQ Zaku Warrior. I'd buy one of each color at least. Graham
