  1. Love the SV-51, especially in fighter mode. Battroid mode is a bit ugly, but still interesting. And I'm one of the few people that actually likes Nora's paint scheme. I'd love to see SV-51 toys from Yamato or Bandai. For the moment though until we get some toys, I'm happy enough with my Hasegawa Nora. Graham
  2. The third pic on this link that David posted, clearly shows that it is NOT a sidestick. Graham
  3. her panties of course! Graham
  4. I'm wondering will the A-10C finally have air-to-air targetting function on the HUD for the 30mm gun? Graham
  5. "Ring Raiders".....LOL! Sorry, ain't nobody gonna be raiding my ring Graham
  6. I'm checking for the GQ Sword everyday this week . It wasn't out yesterday. The official release date is supposed to be Jan 29, but sometimes Bandai releases toys a few days early. I'll be going to the shops in a couple of hours, during my lunch break to see if it's out today. Graham
  7. Arghhhh.....2 seater A-10 looks very ugly IMO. The A-10C cockpit looks nice and modern, not that I really know much about cockpits tho . So are the instruments on the A-10C NVG compatible? Graham
  8. The GQ are awesome toys. You won't regret buying it. Graham
  9. I suppose that is possible. But I'm wondering was Macross Zero popular enough for BW to make a movie version. I'd love to see the sales figures for Mac Plus OVA vs Mac Zero OVA. I'm betting Mac Plus sold more. Graham
  10. And here's the latest pics of the upcoming 1/200 scale HCM-Pro Force Impulse Gundam and Zaku Warrior toys, also due for release in March. Graham
  11. It was a Wave 1/100 scale VF-17D Battroid with FAST Packs. Yes, it's finished a few weeks ago, although the guy is still working on my custom Milia type Bandai 1/65 scale VF-17S toy. I'll post pics of the completed Wave kit soon. Graham
  12. The new March 2005 issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine has first look pics of the unpainted sculpt of the GFF type 'Cosmic Region' Force Impulse Gundam Figure. Looks like a pretty nice sculpt. Can't wait to see it painted. Hopefully like regular GFFs, it will have lots of Tampo printed markings. Definitely will buy one when it's released in March. Graham
  13. Heh, between Godzilla and Sithlord, I don't think Yamato really needs any other customers to stay in business Grahm
  14. I want. Must have Max type VF-22 battroid to go with my Hasegawa VF-22 fighter. Graham
  15. The VF-5000 does not appear in the Macross Plus OVA or movie, although a VF-5000B did feature in the Playstation game 'Macross Plus Game Edition' (released 2000) as a player selectable mecha. The only anime appearance by the VF-5000 was the Zolan Galactic Whale Patrol's VF-5000G (single-seater) & VF-5000T-G (2-seater) in the 1997-8 Macross Dynamite 7 OVA. Oher console games that the VF-5000 has featured in are: - The VF-5000B was in the 2001 Dreamcast came 'Macross M3' as a player selectable mecha. The VF-5000B was also in the super rare 'VF-X2 Special Edition' (year 2000), of which only 1,000 copies were released and available only as a mail-in campaign prize (I have 1 original copy ). As Renato mentioned, the VF-5000B was to have replaced the VF-1 in the US version of VF-X2, had that game been released. To date there have been no toys of the VF-5000 and the only model kits I'm aware of are: - The VF-5000B, was really first made famous IMO by Studio Half Eye's 1998 1/100 scale Perfect Variable garage kit. Yellow Submarine also released a 1/144 scale resin Fighter mode VF-5000G garage kit sometime around 1998. Yellow Submarine also planned a 1/144 scale resin Battroid mode VF-5000G garage kit, but I'm not sure if it was ever released. The very first time any lineart (fighter mode only) of the VF-5000 was published AFAIK was in the 1995 'Variable Fighters Aero Report' section of the 'TIAS Macross Plus book'. Okay, do I win any prize for knowing all this useless junk? Graham
  16. Well, at least the 1/100 VF-0S is still shown on Yamato's site, although that doesn't mean much, as they are very slow at updating (pot calling the kettle black ). Plus the pics shown are still of the older sculpt with the large hip sockets. Heh, and the release date is still shown as 2004. Oh well, hopefully they have a booth at the upcoming Winter Wonder Fest and perhaps any MWers who attend can get some info out of them. Graham
  17. LOL.........you made my coffee come out of my nose I hadn't thought of that. Yeah, I better change it Graham
  18. So can anybody identify what the images on the cover of the book are? Graham
  19. Actually, you don't really need the ability to read Japanese to order from Amazon.jp as they have pages in English for entering your order details (click on the English buton at the top of the page). Of course the item descriptions are still in Japanese though. I've been ordering stuff from them for ages without problem, and I don't read a word of Japanese. Graham
  20. I thought the first pic looks like Hikaru and Minmay. Graham
  21. MwHaHaHaHaHaHa Liked that so much I've put it as my member title. Graham
  22. Me . Never played the game. Graham
  23. Heh, for some reason, I couldn't stop laughing when I read this. Yeah, I reckon we're in for a long quiet period again. Graham
  24. Looks like a bastard child of a SIG 551, HK XM-8 and an M4. Lots of thread necromancy today. We must all be bored . Graham
  25. Bah, by all accounts they were never really lovers or lesbians anyway, it was all just a publicity stunt, which the gullible masses fell for. As for me, I could never stand their out of tone screeching and always turned down the volume when they were on the radio. But hey, what do I know I'm just an old fart who can't stand most modern music and mostly listens to stuff from the 70s/80s . Graham
