  1. You're interested in one piece of what? Cheese, cake, pizza? Ya gotta specify man or we have no idea what you are talking about. . . . . Just joking Graham
  2. Where did you hear that price? I haven't seen any price mentioned in relation to the 1/48 GBP yet. Graham
  3. Done. Graham
  4. More like Graham's number didn't get drawn to buy one of the 10pcs at Wonder Fest and then I lost not one, but two auctions to buy one.....sigh Graham
  5. We already have a thread where this auction is mentioned in the models section. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...pic=14183&st=40 This is not the recent preassembled color Liquid Stone Wonder Fest kit, but an earlier version by IHP that you have to build and paint yourself. And yes, I am bidding on it! Graham
  6. Yeah, we've gone from Shawn asking where to visit in NY to pictures of Agent One's naked back all in the space of 4 pages I think it's time for this thread to go bye bye. Graham
  7. That cosplayer can eat my hot chili pepper any day Graham
  8. I did exactly the same thing . Graham
  9. I already have 2 of the 1/48 Hikaru VF-1J, so I don't really need or want another one. I'd prefer to buy the GBP armor by itself, not bundled together with a Valk. Of course, if Yamato release the armor together with a never before released 1/48 variant, for example a VF-1A Cannon Fodder, then I would buy it. Graham
  10. To the two people, whomever you are that voted: - Go watch Macross Plus again, then go study the YF-19 lineart in detail and then compare the Yamato toy to both the anime and the lineart. If you still think the Yamato toy looks nice, may I respectfully suggest getting your eyesight tested To Ido, who created the poll and added this choice: - Please note that there is no such thing as a 'VF-19C'. Basara's Valkyrie is called either VF-19 Custom, VF-19 Kai or VF-19 Fire Valkyrie. The only other officially recognized variants of the 19 are: YF-19, VF-19A, VF-19F, VF-19S & VF-19P. Graham
  11. I'd hardly call a 53 page thread plus numerous other shorter threads 'getting no love' Yamato has released exactly one version of the VB-6 so there is only so much we can talk about, where as they released multiple 1/60, 1/72 & 1/48 VF toys, giving us much more to discuss. Plus fighters are always more popular than Destroids/big chunky shuttle craft. Graham
  12. Who knows? Hopefully we will eventually get a Macross Zero book. Graham
  13. That may be the most outragous thing ever said in the history of MW. Do the mods know about this!?! This guy must be French or something... (no disrespect to the French intended ) And we wonder why so much of the world hates us... You mean the French or the Americans? Graham
  14. Hmmm.....I hope it is on the way, but there is always a possibility that they are just pages from the Macross Zero book that was already cancelled. Graham What book is this? See this thread. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...=0entry260101 Graham
  15. Don't want to drag this too off topic from Galactica to SW, but are you sure of that? To the best of my knowledge all X-Wings have 4 engines of the same length and it's only the Action Fleet toy that has the lower two engines significantly shorter than the upper pair. AFAIK, both the Fine Molds X-Wing model kit & the Code 3 X-Wing collectable, which are the most realistic interpretations to date have 4 same length engines. Graham
  16. You mean this one? No, it was from the year 2000 Macross calendar. Graham
  17. You mean like collecting real women then? Graham
  18. As long as he keeps on paying the monthly hosting bills . Graham
  19. Speak for yourself. 2 years is hardly 'close', IMO! Heh. OK on the wrong side of 35 then Graham

    Palladium Games

I first bought the Palladium Robotech RPG back in 1988 or 89. I thought the rules system was ok for running a character based game, but absolutely sucked when it came to simulate Macross style mecha combat. Graham
  21. The kit is increadibly easy to build as it is snap together, although a little glue here and there never hurts. However, it won't look really good unless you paint it IMO. Graham
  22. Back on track guys, too political and this gets locked. Graham
  23. I've also got that el-cheapo YF-23 toy, as well as the YF-22 in the same series. They're actually pretty good for the cost, although I found the landing gear to be a pain to install and very fragile. Snapped mine when putting them together, so I ended up building them without the gear, which looks much better IMO as I hate it when the manufacturers make toy fighters with unrealistic semi-recessed landing gear. Graham
  24. Thanks, looking forward to seeing the pics. Seems like the Joyride Viper is pretty expensive. Most sites I've seen sell it for $24.99, where as the Cylon Raider is 10 bucks cheaper at $14.99. Does the Viper's landing gear fold into the plane or is it removeable? From the pics I've seen it looks like it has to be removed. I'm not a huge fan of the Action Fleet X-Wings, mainly as the bottom engines are shorter that the top engines. Graham
  25. That does it, I'm siding with the Anti-UN forces. Now where's my SV-51? Graham
