New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...

Yawn......when are they going to make an RX-79G. Graham -
Land of The Dead opened here in Hong Kong on Thursday August 11th. I finally got to see it yesterday. Would have loved to see it on the opening night, but family commitments kept me busy until yesterday . Great movie and definitely needs multiple viewings. As a Zombie movie, it kicks the ass of that crapy (IMO) Dawn remake from last year. Romero is still the king when it comes to Zombie movies. Lots of great Zombie kills, good action and enough blood and gore to keep most Zombie fans happy. My only real complaints are that at 92 minute it was a bit too short. I would have liked it to be at least 30 minutes or even an hour longer. And secondly, I thought a bit more character development would have been nice. Oh, and somebody has to make a toy of the Dead Reckoning, that thing kicks some serious ass. Looking forward to the directors cut DVD. Graham

Nope, definitely wasn't Blood Work, way before that. For some reason I had it in mind that it was True Romance, but nope, just rewatched True Romance for the first time in years and I was mistaken. The film I'm thinking of should be from about the same time period as True Romance though and have a fairly youngish lead actor. Oh and N-Frames rock in any caliber. Wish I still had my 629. Graham

Need help remembering a movie title. I saw this movie about 8-10 years ago, where the hero used a short barrelled 8 shot revolver, which was probably a S&W N-frame in .357mag with either a 2" or 3" barrel. I only have very vague memories of the movie, but I seem to remember at the end of the movie, the hero has fired 6 shots, so the bad guys think his revolver is empty. Then the hero goes on to kill the last two bad guys with shot # 7 & 8. It's bugging the hell out of me that I can't remember the movie name as I'd like to watch it again. Can anybody help me out with what movie this is? Graham

Not into 12" action figures at all, but these Colonial Marine Figures look awesome. Might have to break down and purchase the Hicks figure. Graham

Can't see the pics . Graham

Yep, I want fly VF-0, SV-51, YF-19, VF-22 and VF-17. BTW, is ACE an actual fighting game or is it a strategy type game like the SRW games? Graham

I guess this is really just an example of Darwinism in action. I mean a person who's life consists soley of playing online games 24/7 should not really be contibuting to the gene pool anyway . Rememeber, everything in moderation. And games rather than sex? Sorry, my brain is just not wired to understand that mindset at all. Graham

I'll be getting this, but I hope it has more VFs in it than just the VF-1. Trurth be told, I'm terribly bored with the VF-1 these days. Graham

I concur. 1/48s will go up in price, but not to the insane levels that the old Takatoku and Bandai toys once commanded. I think that perhaps 5-10 years later, the maximum price we would see, assuming they are no longer being produced by Yamato is perhaps double the original retail price, with the exception of the Low-Vis would sell for more. As for 1/60 toys I don't think they will go up in price much if any and may even drop. Graham

Never understood this addiction that many people have to console and computer games. Sure, I like playing games now and then and own several consoles, but even with a game I really like, I wouldn't play more than a couple of hours a day maximum and perhaps for only 2 to 3 days a week. No way I'd play everyday, all day. That's crazy. There's so much more to do in life, than just sitting in front of a screen and pressing buttons. People needed to get off their asses more and go out and do some sort of activity that preferably involves either fitness or learning and entails actual face to face interaction with other real people. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'd much rather catch a movie with friends or have a nice romatic dinner with the wife, go hiking, swimiming, practice my martial art or heck even just read a book most of the time than play a game. Again I don't dislike games, but they are far down on my list of things I'd choose to do most of the time, unless I'm in a rare gaming mood. Perhaps consoles or PCs should be built with a cut-off function so that say after 3-4 hours of play time, they automatically switch off the game for the next 12 or 24 hours, but leave other functions running (in the case of computers). Confused, I thought a Sharpee was a breed of Chinese dog Graham

Luna MUST NOT die. Luna should get her own series, with plenty of fan service panty shots and shower scenes Graham

1/48 GBP is scheduled for release in September. Graam
-
Yes, the VF-0 is much bigger than the VF-1. Graham
-
VF-0A with Ghost booster & wing missles is definitely coming in September I think. The latest issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine has the Hasagawa lineart. Graham

Great job. Once I get the new sever access passwords from Shawn, I'd love to add those pics to the custom toy gallery if you don't mind. Graham

Wow, that custom box is awesome. Somebody put a lot of work into that. Graham

I'm pretty sure that the 1/60 VF-0S finished product will have some minimal diecast parts where necessary for strength. Probably the same as the 1/48, i.e. landing gears and swing bar. It's still pretty early days yet and Yamato have only released a very limited amount of information on the product. At this early stage any specs released should not be taken as final as some things will no doubt change between now and next year. I'm also betting that the 1/60 VF-0 will have exactly the same type of single swing bar as the 1/48 VF-1. Even though the anime shows duel swing bars, if these were made accurate to the anime, they would likely be too thin and fragile even if made of metal. Even though they are not at this time shown on the specifications, I'm also willing to bet that the wing missiles and leg-mounted FAST packs will be included. Graham

Just did a google search on Haruki Yoshiyama and it looks like he's responsible for quite a bit of stuff, including the GFF Crossbones Gundam, GFF Wing Gundam and the 1/48 GBP Armor. Graham

The last Nic Cage movie I liked was The Rock and that as what, 9 years ago! Graham

I wanna know when the Murasame is gonna get some love either in toy or model form? I mean the only Murasames so far are cheap and nasty gashapons. A 1/100 kit or an MSIA toy would be nice. Graham

Those that chose either Minmay or Misa, I hope you had in mind the DYRL versions and not the TV series Anime Friend (Fiend) versions Graham
