  1. To answer some of the questions above. No, the 1/48 FAST Packs cannot fit in the holes in the 1/60 VF-0S backpack. The holes are too small and have slightly rounded corners as well. Don't worry about the swing bar on the VF-0S, it's plenty strong enough. While it's not revolutionary, it's certainly evolutionary in that Yamato have thought of ways to improve nearly every part over the 1/48. Graham
  2. That's about the Hasegawa 1/72 battroid kit out in March, which comes with both an 'S' and an 'A' type heads. Graham
  3. New pics of the Yamato 1/60 VF-0S from the April 2006 issues of Dengeki Hobby magazine & Hobby Japan magazine have been added to the Yamato VF-0S pre-production page. (click on link and scroll down to the magazine pics). These magazine pics have also been archived in the MW Magazine Section. Graham
  4. New pics from the April 2006 issues of Dengeki Hobby magazine and Hobby magazine. April 2006 Dengeki Hobby Magazine Photos of the molds and lineart of the VF-0A head here. April 2006 Hobby Japan Magazine Photos of the molds and lineart of the VF-0A head here. April 2006 Hobby Japan Magazine Hasegawa advertisment, showing the box art by Tenjin, lineart size comparison with VF-1 and VF-0A head lineart here. The above pics have been archived in the MW Magazine section. Graham
  5. Thank you for just making me spray my coffee all over my monitor. Funnisest thing I've read in a while. But I think your sentence is missing 3 letters: - Graham
  6. Yeah I have that set as well and it's very good. Graham
  7. Fan-made Robotech RPG game stats have nothing to do with Macross. Please do not quote them on this site as a source of reference when discussing Macross mecha. Just put the 20 micro-missiles in the pod and be happy FYI, the 1/48 toy was designed with a lot of input from Mr. Kawamori and he had final approval on nearly everything, so it's pretty safe to say that 20 missiles per pod is correct for the VF-1 in Macross. As for Robotech........who cares!? This is a Macross site, not a Robotech site. Graham
  8. Will get this added to the MW custom toy gallery today. Graham
  9. Will add this to the MW custom toy gallery today. Graham
  10. 2 sets of the standard set and 2 sets of the leg art set for me please. Graham
  11. GBP is pretty much problem free. The chest problem will be fixed by the second release. Still waiting to find out the color change (if any) of the 2nd release. Sorry. Graham
  12. Just saw the news about the upcoming 1/18 scale A Song Of Ice & Fire figures from Testors. They look pretty nice. Graham
  13. Heh, I've got fanart 'pic of the week' shown on the main page. Guess I'll have to change that to 'month'. Graham

  15. It's not just the bad grammar and incorrectly named chracters that are the problem with the various Taiwan and HK bootleg DVDs, it's also that they really mess up the translation of what is said about the AFOS and protoculture. Graham
  16. What about beer? Graham
  17. IIRC, there are only three new Tenjin Macross box arts not in the book: - SV-51 w/Boosters. VF-0A/S with Ghost. VF-0S Battroid. That's not enough for a new book yet. Or am I forgetting some? Graham
  18. Should have some definite info by Friday. Graham
  19. I'd go for fansubs. All the boots I've seen have terrible subs. Graham
  20. Added a Winter WonderFest 2006 page, which has larger versions of the pics SaveRobotech took. Graham
  21. The Tuna is taking a well deserved vacation. Read this thread for details. Graham
  22. I notice the VF-0S can keep it's gunpod in fighter mode when attached to the stand, unlike the 1/48 VF-1 toys. Graham
  23. I've been told that the pilots will be colored differently. Graham
  24. Eh? That conflicts with my info which is from a pretty reliable source, which says they are the Low Vis 2 & Stealth color schemes. Graham
  25. I've seen better photos of the Stealth and Low-Vis 2 (AKA camo Valk) and they look much nicer. The Camo Valk looks great in fighter mode IMO. Yes, the Camo Valk paint scheme was inspired by Vietnam War era jets. Graham
