  1. There were 3 color variants of SV-51 featured in the OVA. Ivanov = black. Nora = magenta w/yellow trim. Cannon-Fodder = tan. Graham
  2. Heh, this is one of those questions which gets asked frequently. Yes, I love Macross music. I have a pretty large collection of CDs from all the series. I can't stand Robotech music or songs. Graham
  3. The Hong Kong Macrossworld gang (Graham, Neova, Valk009 & Blackaces & Jonathan), met up for dinner last night and decided to turn our collective wisdom to this task. Here's our casting choices for the ultimate 'Robotech - The Macross Saga' live action movie (hope I'm remembering these right after the beers last night): - Charlie Sheen as Rick Hunter. Owen Wilson as Roy Fokker. Chris Tucker as Exodore. The Rock as Breetai. John Travolta as Ben Dixon. Morgan Freeman as Gloval. J-Lo as Minmay Samual L Jackson as Khyron Ben Affleck as Lynn Kyle. Max & Millia = undecided. Graham

    1/48 Gbp

I actually like the lime green. Graham
  6. For me, it's not about being a purist or a fan or not of a particular film or TV series. I just generally prefer to listen to a foreign language production in it's orginal language and have Engish subtitles to read. I'm not just talking about Japanese productions, any foreign language film or TV series, be it French, Spanish, German, Cantonese, Korean etc invariably sounds better when the dialogue is spoken by the original actors in their native tongue, rather than dubbed into English, often with some less than stellar voice acting. As somebody who has been a voracious reader since the age of 7, with a high reading spead, I have no trouble reading subtitles and looking at the pretty pictures at the same time. I do realise that subtitles are not for everybody, especially the large segment of the population that has trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time. Graham
  7. While the film could have been much better, I thought the acting wasn't too bad and the casting choices were OK. I definitely enjoyed the movie more than the newer TV mini-series, which while more accurate to the book storywise, had terribly wooden acting and miscast actors who looked nothing like how they are discribed in the books. My biggest complaint with the film version though was the inclusion of those 'shout' powered sonic(?) handguns used at the end of the movie. Definitely don't recall seeing those in the books. Graham

    Custom 1/55

I need to get a lot of the 1/55 customs added to the gallery, but I need to know who made each one if possible. Graham
  9. Nice, will add it to the MW custom toy gallery next week. Taking a break from doing updates for a few days. Graham
  10. Phalanx, it sounds more to me like you would like to see Hajime Katoki do a redesign of the VF-1. Graham
  11. I've been reading British weekly anthology comic '2000AD' on and off since 1978 and currently have a subscription to it, as well as the spin-off monthly 'Judge Dredd Megazine'. I used to read several US superhero comics as a kid (X-Men, Legion of Super Heros, Firestorm, Micronauts plus a few others) back in the mid '70s to early '80s, but gave up on them when I turned 12 years old. Graham
  12. Nice looking site guys. Congratulations. Do you have a link banner yet? Graham
  13. Hmmph........................it doesn't include V-Gundam (UC 152 IIRC). That's not fair for V fans. Graham
  14. There should be an "LEDs in heads suck" option in the poll. I'll pass. Didn't like the idea in the VF-1 MPC, not interested for 1/48. Graham
  15. I seem to recall reading that the F-2 ended up costing about six times the cost of a basic F-16. Am I correct? If so why? Graham
  16. Can somebody please give me a scan of the ADV DVD boxes so I can add it to the main site. I need a scan of the front and rear cover of each individual box. I also understand there is a big box for all the disks to go in, so a scan of that would be great as well. Pics should be scanned at 200dpi and resized so they are 800 pixels wide please. If anybody can help out, please PM me and I will give you an email address to send the pics to. Thanks in advance. Graham
  17. Never really thought about it. Keep them until I'm bored with them and then sell them off on ebay to pay for hookers Graham
  18. Just added 4 extra large pics (2,000 pixels wide) to the Yamato Garland page. Graham
  19. IMO, no need to redesign either the VF-1 or VF-0. Graham
  20. I'd love toys of the VF-2SS with SAP and VF-2JA. I've never cared for the Metal Siren though, the fighter mode is just so ugly. It's probably not going to happen from Yamato though. Graham
  21. Never seen it done before, but I would imagine it would look much too small. Graam
  22. I'm number 11, cus when Shawn was setting up the new boards, he created several different names for himself as a test, so 11 was the smallest number I could get. Graham
  23. Very soon you'll have enough 1/48 that you can build a house with them. Graham
  24. To be honest I'm getting a little creeped out by all this talk of me being hot and having sweet lips! Graham
  25. Once upon a time there was....... . . . . . . . . . ...................and they lived happily ever after! Graham
